These are perfect shoes for a bride. Elegant, beautiful, true to size. Comfortable but still recommend breaking them in a bit.

Once in a lifetime. Letdown. I am sitting here, the night before my wedding with these beautiful shoes. I noticed when I took them out of the package they had a small scuff on the back of the heel, but seeing as I had no time to send them back for new ones, I ignored it. I put them on to wear around the house (not outside) to see how my feet would feel tomorrow. A little less than an hour later I took them off to discover the "kate spade" logo had smudged to the point it was not legible. I realize this is a small thing, but when you dream of having your pictures of your shoes hanging with your wedding dress and the logo is half worn off it is a pretty big deal. The bottom of the shoes are also torn up from simply walking around the house. I have never had shoes that fell apart so quickly. I am beyond upset, and at this point I am left with no options. My wedding is tomorrow, and although I will have shoes on my feet, the missing logo and length of time it took for these "quality" shoes to mess up is mind boggling. Brides, beware.

I purchased these shoes for my upcoming August wedding! Not only are they beautiful, but they're also super comfortable! The shoes do run slightly small, so be sure to order a half size up. I can't wait to dance the night away! Thanks Zappos!

Love these shoes!
These shoes are absolutely beautiful! I bought them for my wedding and I couldn't be happier. They are a bit tight and do not provide much arch support. I am hoping they will stretch if I wear them around the house a few time and buy those petal inserts for a little more comfort. Although, they are classy, stylish, and worth the temporary discomfort!

Love! Love! Love them! I bought these in ivory for my wedding. They are so comfortable and very cute. The double strap in the back really helps them not slip down your heel. They are PERFECT!

Wow, as sexy as this shoe may look, the look on your face would NOT be. Immediately put all my weight on a tender spot under my toes I didn't even know existed. These went back in the box 30 seconds later. The side straps were loose on me and looked funny, maybe this would be better in a size larger than 8, someone with a longer foot?

Beautiful, but painful...
These are the prettiest shoes in my closet, and the most uncomfortable as well. While they were comfortable initially, after walking a short distance my feet began to ache terribly. I had to grit my teeth to keep walking (we were late to a ceremony and had to park a distance away). I was tempted to take them off and walk down the sidewalk barefoot, but sanitation was of greater concern than comfort. The toe area appears to be the problem rather than the bed or the heel; it applies too much pressure to my foot. Anyway, a very sad case indeed--these are lovely shoes to admire, but they won't be gracing my feet again.

I got the Lover in sage metal and love them. Very feminine and sexy, they look great with a dressy dress in black and great with dressy jeans. I normally wear an 8 ½, got the 9 and fit is great. I always get compliments on a Kate Spade shoe. Worth every penny, I have had some Kate Spade shoes now for years! Still in style.

Great looking shoes!
I ordered these shoes in the chocolate satin for my son's wedding. Normally I wear a lower heel, but these are balanced and felt great even right out of the box. I loved them so much I bought a second pair in black satin.
Nice heel height, easy to walk in, beautiful shoes! Very dressy and classy looking. I ordered the 8.5 which is my size and it fit perfectly. The 9 would have been too large. This is my first purchase from Kate Spade and I would buy again from this designer.

I love my new Kate Spade shoes!!!! I purchased them specifically for my daughters wedding wore them for the 1st time that day, all day, & they were not only pretty but comfy too!!!! Wish they had been a 1/2 size larger...but still love them!

Beautiful, but runs small...
This shoe in the Old Gold Snake is lovely and was precisely what I was searching for. However, I had to return the 8.5 and then the 9 before I finally got it right with the 9.5. These Kate Spades run really small. I rarely wear anything but an 8.5 and with these, I'm in a full size larger. Something to consider before buying. That said, now that they fit...I simply adore them!

Great shoe -
I got the Lover in old gold metal snake print in 7. I normally wear a 7. I wanted a gold shoe and I was worried that the gold vecchio might be too shiny and cheap looking.
Mine looks really nice. I was a bit worried about the comfort because of the reviews, but I wore it to a 7-hour wedding with no problems. The strap in the back did slip once or twice, but it never fell all the way off. It did feel a bit uncomfortable when it slipped, so I may get some strap gripper things and see how those work. I have wide feet but I had no problems with these shoes.
They're way more than I'm used to spending on shoes but because of a recent foot surgery, I've decided it's worth it to splurge on quality. And I'm really happy with these.

Wedding shoes -
I bought these shoes for my wedding. They fit well (true to size) and the sling back fits my ankle perfectly. Usually sling backs are loose on me. The heel height is great and it doesn’t hurt my heel. My only complaint is that the strap over the toes is tight and digs into the skin, but hopefully once broken in they will be more comfortable.

These sandals are gorgeous! I loved the look of them in the picture and instantly splurged. I hesitated because I have never spent this much money on a pair of shoes, but the second I saw them, I had no regrets. They are stunning!!! Beautiful!!! The ivory satin is so pretty. I was a bit unsure whether or not to get them (I got the gold ones) since a lot of the reviews aid they were uncomfortable or slipped off BUT, they didn't slip off, my feet didn't hurt and everyone commented on my shoes the whole night (I got them to wear with my dress on New Years Eve '06).

Stunning but be prepared to stop every block!
I absolutely ADORE this shoe, but every time I wear it, I spend half my evening pulling the strap up around my heel. No matter how high you pull it up, it invariably slips down after a few strides. Worth it, though. They're gorgeous and always elicit compliments from both admiring men and jealous women.

Simply GORGEOUS! I get compliments every time I wear these - they are equally fab with dress pants, skirts, or jeans. They are relatively comfortable, although I did have to wear them a few times to stretch the sling back straps a bit. Also, I suggest inserting a ball of foot cushion (I've found Footpetals to work best). These will be in my closet forever!

I fell in love with these shoes in gold and splurged to buy them immediately. I love tall heels and have grown VERY tolerant of foot pain for the sake of good-looking shoes. HOWEVER, these really are not manageable if you're spending over an hour on your feet, or God forbid you have to walk a few city blocks, they become brutally painful on the balls of your feet. I have also found this problem with other Kate Spade shoes and I think it has something to do with the way they're designed. Her shoes are adorable and I love the way they look, but this one is a surprisingly abusive "Lover" to your feet.
