These boots are great. Much prettier out of the box. The pictures do not do them justice. The leather is pliant so breaking them in around the ankle won't kill me, like with lots of other boots. Yet the calf stays high. The heels are high, be used to wearing high heels if you're looking into getting these. They are roomy so consider getting half a size down, unless you want extra cushion inserts. The wide width is amazing, not readily available in all boots, much appreciated. I wanted a plain black boots with no buckles or embellishment, and I got what I wanted. These boots are close to perfection. Stored in the box, should last for years. Thank you Zappos.

These boots were much cuter in person and fit me perfectly in the calf. I originally fully intended to keep them. However, this week, it was finally cool enough outside to wear them. I put them on, and they kept rubbing against all of my socks that I tried, so the socks would fall down my leg and down into the top of the boot due to the high heel. They passed my initial check and were quite comfortable, but they were just a bit too irritating. So, I sent them back.

Ordered these boots yesterday, had them in hand today. ZAPPOS IS THE BEST!! And, these boots are\r\nFab! But, Fitzwell they don\'t-! I am typically a 10M and ordered accordingly. They are a 1/2 size too large, and I already have reordered them in a 9-1/2 instead. Now for the good news--the black stacked heel is better looking in person than the pictures would allow. The sole makes them a smart choice for the winter, and the high heel is well-balanced. They are a great find for someone looking for a more fitted calf. They are stylish boots for the money, so order a 1/2 size down and be ready to go stomping. !!!

I am very pleased with these boots!! It is simple and elegant. I am so glad they have WIDE width. The heels are a little high - but I can get used to it - no problem. If you have bigger calf, like I do, it is going to be a challenge to zip the boots up - and I am hoping the leather will stretch a little. I boots have some ridges in it to give better traction - I don't know if it will really help in snowy/ icy conditions. Comfort wise - I have not really walked around much in these boots but so far, it is quite comfortable. Just need to get used to the higher heels. Overall, I think this is a good buy and worth my money.

First time "Fitzwell" buyer - Luv this boot! The boots felt great from first step and are very good looking. Even though they have 4" heels, I could walk (shop!) forever in them!! I have many pairs of boots (none cheap) over a 100 - and find these to be really nice - especially for the price! I would highly recommend!!

Great Boots -
This was my third try at boots and I found a winner! This is my first pair of Fitzwell shoes and I love them! I needed help getting them zipped up my calves at first. But after wearing them for a little while, the leather stretched and now I can zip them up just fine. The wide width is perfect for my wide feet and I was able to wear my normal size. The 3 in. heel is really tall, but I have no problem walking in them for long periods of time. I work in retail and am constantly on my feet and on the move. I did add my own gel inserts, but I need them since I only like wearing heels at work.

These are totally sexy with a little aggressive edge. But I could not zip them past my ankle so they are heading back. I have a 15" calf with a high instep. I had really hoped that the circumference measurement listed was wrong as the boots are so hot. My search continues...

Great boots. Nice & plain but sexy. A little snug in the top-of-calf area, but I have really long legs, and these come up only to the thickest part of my calf, so anyway. Love 'em.

A very sexy boot -
I ordered a size larger than my flats which really worked out for me, they go on and off easy and feel better any high heel boot I ever owned I never would have tried a larger size if there was not such a great return policy. I wish they made the same boot with a more rounder toe.

These boots are great, they're comfortable and look great. The only downside is they are a little tighter around the calf than expected.

I only placed my order yesterday and yet today I get home from work and SURPRISE! My boots are here! Free shipping, fast shipping, giant selection...what else can a customer ask for? Customer service in general is lacking when dealing with other retailers but Zappos rules!
