My 18 month old son did not like these slippers at all. He kept tugging at the plastic piece behind the heel and pulling them off. I bought a size up with the idea of adjusting them as necessary, but my son would rub the back of his heel. However, this is a great quality slipper. Great for indoors and out. I recommend buying Foamtreads Kids Satellite. These were a much better fit for my son and he does not take these off.

These slippers are so cute and my son really likes them. He has to wear slippers at his school when they are indoors and so they are very important to him.

Great slipper!
This is a good slipper, however if it is for a toddler who is starting to walk it is a little difficult for them to walk in them because of the platform which takes away some stability.

Very Cute and Comfy -
My 21 month old son is a size 7, so I got these slippers in a size 8. He still has LOTS of room to grow into them. The tie in the back ensures they won't fall off at this point, and they hardly ever do. The sole is soft and flexible, but gives great protection if worn outside...plus it's nonskid, nonmarking rubber, so you won't have to worry about them slipping on hardwood, or tile floors.

Cute shoes, but my nephew hates them -
I bought a size 9 for my nephew, which is his exact size, and he hates these shoes. They look good on him, but he'll only wear them for about 10 minutes before he takes them off and starts to fling them around. In general, this kid loves shoes and you have to force them off of him, so it's very unusual for him to remove them himself. I think it was a size issue. He rubs the backs of his heels, as if the shoes are rubbing against them uncomfortably. I guess maybe I should have bought a size up, because our experience seems different than other reviewers'; this shoe doesn't seem to be bigger than marked.

Great slippers -
Comfy for kids, they can adjust the tightness in the back. They give some support too, without being too stiff. And the soles grip the floor (but don't mark it) so that running little ones don't slip.

My 2 boys (3 and 5) both love it. It is easy for them to put on and the bottom gives them traction. It was their favorite out of 4 pairs I gave them to choose from.

Cute Slipper -
This slipper looks great on and is very comfortable. My son and daughter love them, as I got them in blue for him and pink for her. You should order a 1/2 to 1 full size larger, as these slippers run small. But don't worry, you can adjust them in the back if they are a little big, which is a great feature. I would highly recommend them.

Love the Foamtreads!
We got these shoes for our 2-year old grandson Jack for Christmas. He loves them and doesn't want to take them off! I think he's worn them every day since he got them. Thanks for a great product.

I ordered these for my children and they like them very much. As well as being "fire red" they like the ease of getting them on and off. They are good cushion for little feet on cold tile floors!

Not worth it -
I bought these slippers for my 14-month-old son who is just learning to walk. We have a lot of hard wood floors and needed something for inside the house to keep his feet warm and keep him from slipping. These shoes are super cute and look comfy, but they're no good. They didn't stay on his feet for more than a few minutes at a time - he easily kicked them off, or they just fell off on their own - and the adjustable elastic strap (which seemed like a good idea when I was shopping) left a painful-looking red mark around his ankle. I'm trying to return these and get my money back right now. Hopefully Zappos will be accommodating!
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I'm probably going to buy a pair of Preschoolians instead

Very functional -
Personally I love this slipper, my daughter didn't, but after a week she LOVES them. I got them for my grandson, I got 5's but I thought they were a bit small so I returned them for a 6. Anyone who ever has returned to Zappos knows the quality of their customer service! I had the replacements in days. My grandson wears these at home all the time. My daughter can take him on an errand without putting his socks and shoes back on. With the winter coming he stays cozy warm and can take a quick breath of air outside without getting his feet wet! I love them, so does my grandson and so does his mom! And they look adorable with his overalls!
