I love my new Kork Ease. I bought 2 pair based on verbal recommendation from a close friend. I also did not know what size I would need, so I made a guess. I used to wear size 8, but that was before having a baby 2 years ago. So I went up a half size, and bought 8.5. Fits perfectly. They are incredibly comfortable, chic, and stylish. I will treasure them for a long time to come. Thank you, Kork Ease, for making such a comfortable chic shoe!

The best shoe ever! I have some heel pain from previous running injuries so I'm always searching for a pair of shoes that are cute and comfortable and don't look like something my grandmother would wear! These sandals are amazing - no pinching, no blisters - I feel as though I could walk a marathon in these cute wedges. I'll definitely take them on my next vacation! Great shoe.

This is my second pair of Avas. I wore my first pair for four summers straight, and finally decided that it was time to replace them. These are ridiculously comfortable shoes that are very easy to walk in from the first time you put them on - and they’re adorable.

If you want an affordable somewhat retro, very comfortable sandal, this is a great choice. They work with bare feet or tights!

Best shoe ever! Feel like I'm walking on air. I am a true 9.5 and ordered the 9 (wishful thinking). I had about 1/4" heel hang over, gross. Swapped them for a 10 and they fit great. Could walk all day in these bad boys. When I exchanged them over phone, the sales gal sent me the 10s before Zappos even had the 9s returned. Great stuff! Ordered on a Sunday night and had two pairs back and forth by Thursday. Wore the 10s all weekend. A truly superb shoe. I will definitely buy some more in others colors and the taller heel height, too. Order them!

I came across these shoes on a search for cute shoes that would support my feet as I have been dealing with Plantar Fasciitis. There were so many glowing reviews that I thought I\'d try them out. I loved the look of them. I tried them on one night as I was getting ready to go out. I only had them on while I was standing to do my make up and dry my hair but my toe felt like it was squished and the fit potentially could cause a blister so I opted not to wear them. I was planning to return them (and sorely disappointed about that) but realized that I could try them out one more time as I was hosting a baby shower in my home and could wear them for a few hours without destroying them. They looked really cute and the toe thing didn\'t bother me anymore. However, after, 4 or 5 hours in the shoes, my plantar fasciitis really flared up and now, 4 days later I am still dealing with the consequences (sore feet!). If you don\'t have any foot problems, I think these shoes would probably be great...and maybe even more comfortable than most sandals with a heel this high, but for someone dealing with plantar fasciitis or other foot issues, I recommend trying something else.

I love these shoes!!! I had them in red and had to get them in brown. Even more comfy in brown because the leather gives. I have a bad hip and most shoes bother me by the end of the day, but I can wear these all day without pain. I am sad that the weather is getting too cold to wear them. They look great and feel great! I am so glad Kork-ease are back!

Peace, Love and Zappos! I am so happy Zappos has the largest selection of Kork-Ease in the world! This is my second pair of Kork-Ease I have ordered from Zappos, and I am more than pleased. These are just like I remember my first pair I had in the 70s! Never a doubt, take them right out of the box and start wearing them, they seem to instantly mold to your foot and, so comfortable! I fell in love with Kork-Ease shoes 40 years ago and was so delighted to see they have returned again. I searched the Internet far-and-wide and found that Zappos had the ones I wanted. When I asked questions about the sizing and other matters they said that their customers determined that increasing half a size larger was the way to go. That was correct. I placed my order incorrectly and called to find out some information. I spoke to a young man who was beyond helpful in explaining the situation. Then he followed up with a postcard thanking me! When does stuff like this ever happen? I love my shoes! The staff were all terrific! I would definitely shop here again! It was my pleasure to add these comments.

These shoes looked so comfortable. I have only worn them once, but the right one squished my toes a little and my foot hurt after a day in them; I'm not disappointed yet, I think I just need to break them in. I have bought several pairs in different styles and some come with softer leather than others right from the start. I have the platform mules (forget the name) and they are soft and wonderful!

I love these shoes. So comfortable and stylish that I bought 2 pair of Kork-Ease this summer! They are the perfect height and style for just about any occasion. I am constantly on my feet as a teacher and never feel like I have to rush home to kick off my shoes. They're so comfortable that I even walked all over Paris in them this summer and had no aches or pains from the shoes. The only way they could improve is by having a better, thicker sole. I wore through the sole pretty quickly, but it was easily fixed at the local shoe repair shop. They fit pretty true to size. Love these shoes!

I know the '70's are coming back, but I was dying for wedged sandals and here they are! The KorkEase in person! I remember running in them! I don't think I'll do much of that but walking is just like the good old days. I love these! The straps will stretch out a bit if they are a bit tight at first! I Love that I found the name in a Zappo's blog! They are great!

Good quality made sandal. A bit chunky but very comfortable to wear. Prevents my back from aches as it seems to absorb much of the impact and helps with avoiding pain from low arches.

I love Kork-Ease shoes! They are very comfortable and easy to walk in. This shoe looks great on and goes with a lot of different clothes: skirts, pants, etc. I have a lot of foot problems and usually can only wear Naots or Birkenstocks. I can wear these all day and not have any foot pain or problems.

These classic shoes so stylish and fit like a dream. The wedge design and cork soles make them much more comfortable than typical high heels. I bought the 3 inch size with some trepidation, knowing that teetering on high heels is not my strong point. I need not have worried. I work on my feet, and can wear these all day with no pain. I don\'t even kick them off as soon as I come home, as I do with almost all my other work shoes. I also receive compliments everywhere I go when I wear these shoes. No doubt they will be a closet staple for years!

I am pregnant and always walking, so I require serious comfort and stability. I also carry a 15 month-old around most of the day. These shoes are perfect- for distances, diverse surfaces, and most importantly- self-esteem! They look great and give me a bit of height to balance out my rapidly growing posterior. They have held up well, and I am extremely rough on shoes, as you might guess. A truly classic shoe.

I've ordered many shoes from Zappos. They are the best, most efficient online company I've ever used. They upgraded my shipping for these shoes to overnight for free! These Kork-Ease shoes fit true to size, and were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I immediately wore them walking all day without a blister or ache despite the heel height. The back strap is a little bit loose on my heel, but it's not bothersome. The leather is soft, the shoe well made, and they go with everything. I love the cork wedges, very retro with jeans or with a skirt. They give me added height without making my feet hurt, which is perfect. I highly recommend these shoes in any color. I've gotten many compliments on them!

I absolutely love these sandals. They were too narrow in the front at first, to the point I wanted to return them, but, since I liked how they looked so much and didn't want to part with them, I wore them at home a few times, and they stretched nicely; not too much but to fit just right. They are very comfortable now!

Beautiful but if you've never tried these on before you may need a lot of trial and error before true bliss is experienced! The wonderful thing is that Zappos makes it all so easy for you! I tried the Kork Ease slip on type, tried 2 different sizes, my size and a size down- the size down too small and the size up was too big (way too big) so I thought maybe I needed something with a strap. I do not have a huge or wide foot, I don't like to cram my toes into shoes, and I do like my toes to not hang over or from the back also. So I went with my normal size and it worked fine. The buff color is absolutely gorgeous and goes with everything-jeans, shorts, dresses and the cork does not show a lot of dirt as well! So go get a pair- get your usual size unless you have really, really, really narrow feet or like to squeeze your poor toes and you won't regret them! Oh and btw these are very comfy too!

I bought these shoes in chocolate. They are very comfortable and well made. I'm given them four stars instead of five because they are a bit clunkier looking than I thought they would be. Overall, though, I love the retro look and have had no trouble walking fair distances in them. I recommend these shoes.

What fun! Platforms have not been in my wardrobe since the 70's. These sandals are comfortable, lightweight, and much easier to walk in than you'd think. Almost better than the shoes, however, is the service I got from Zappos? This was my first experience with Zappos and I was a little hesitant to order shoes online. Well, I ordered two sizes of the same shoe as other reviews led me to believe there may be some sizing issues (more on that later), so I knew from the get-go that I would be testing the return policy. May I say, it was very easy. I also appreciated the communication from Zappos letting me know about the status of my order, and then the status of my return. I'll be back. As for sizing, the sandals only come in whole sizes and, like the rest of the world, I wear a half size. I ordered both up and down from my regular size and ultimately decided to go with the smaller sandal because so many folks had commented on how the leather stretched with wear. I haven't had my sandals long enough to notice that, yet, but it's nice that I don't have to buckle them on the last notch out of the box--I have some room. Length-wise, they're a teensy bit short, but since they’re sandals, it's not that noticeable. Overall, I'm very pleased--and I'm now 6 feet tall!!!

I had read a lot of reviews about how comfy these shoes were, so I finally took the plunge. They really are amazingly comfortable! I've had my eye on these for a while. I used to have a pair in the '70's and LOVED them. If you are thinking about getting these shoes, do it! Right out of the box comfort! Plus they make you feel tall and they are cute to boot. Grab 'em!

The best platform sandal ever!!!
I am 5'4" and love to have some height, but also like to look and dress casual - no other way if you live in the Pacific Northwest; well, this sandal brings it all: a classic sandal look, height, beauty, AND COMFORT - most important. This sandal is the full package. You can wear and walk in this sandal all day long because the height is balanced out. Buy this sandal, now I want the brown one!
