These are my favorite shoes. They feel like slippers and can be worn all year long. I wear them with tights in the winter with a cute dress. Don't ever stop making these, have them in brown as well.

I do not normally wear much in heels, but these are surprisingly comfortable. I actually wear them with cute socks now that it is getting cooler around here. For me the fit is true to size.

Oh I love love love these shoes.\r\nDoes the winter have to come?\r\nI would like to wear these sandals longer.\r\nThe style provides added height without the discomfort of a high heal. The style is flattering to my foot (size 10 and a little wide).\r\nThis are keepers. I have bought 2 pairs.\r\n

These shoes will give you height, but are super-comfortable and totally walkable. I normally wear a 7.5 and the 7 in this style fit me perfectly. For the price, they\'d better last. I\'d buy them in black in a heartbeat, but they are sold out :-(

My favorite sandals!
I own three pairs of Kork-Ease and wear them all summer long. I live in NYC and walk all over the city and my feet never hurt, never get tired. Kork-Ease rock.

I coveted these as a seventh grader back when they were popular in the seventies and finally got a pair! They're wonderful, I don't usually wear heels, but these are truly comfortable even if you're on your feet all day. Great with skirts, pants and jeans. If you're a half size, I'd recommend ordering down since the ankle strap, in particular, stretches a bit with wearing.

I love these. I am wearing them right now (black leather, black suede sole). These are my first Kork-Ease purchase, and I'm very pleased. I wear between a 4.5 and a 5, and I almost never have a shoe fit without pads, innersoles, adjustments, etc. The 5 in these fit like a glove. They were comfortable from the get-go, and are very supportive. The leather straps don't rub or pinch anywhere. I like the height too; despite being 3 inches, they feel very stable. I can walk all over NYC in them in complete comfort. I may get more next summer in different colors, or try other Kork-Ease styles. (One small complaint: the suede scuffs easily. I brush them with a dry toothbrush after each wearing to keep the suede looking fresh.)

Never liked a shoe better than these. First day I got them I went outlet mall shopping, aka tons of walking, and did not have sore or blistered feet. I bike and walk everywhere and find them totally fitting with my lifestyle. I get compliments all the time. They match with everything from casual to going out. I may need another pair in a different color. True to size.

These are my all-time favorite shoes. I wore them in the sixties and I still buy them. They conform to your feet and always feel sturdy. The cork under the suede makes them nice and light, and I appreciate that they are hand made by actual humans. I also have the lower one, and it's great too.

I have purchased 2 pair of Ava Buff in the past year. They are not the first pairs of Kork-Ease as I had bought another pair several years ago. My problem with the first pair is that I thought they were too large, being size 7. Much of the foot bed was visible and it was a different color than the leather. This year I purchased a size 6, all the same color, both foot bed and leather. Shoe was beautiful, size wrong. I did not return the size 6 and gave them to my daughter. Reordered in a size 7 for myself and the size 7 definitely is the best for me, foot bed showing or not. I like the shoes immensely. They look good, feel good and make me taller by 3", desirable since I am now 5'1" in bare feet. Zappos helped all along the way. Both daughter and myself could not be more pleased with this shoe and we thank Zappos for carrying them.

Cannot believe how comfortable these shoes are! Where have you been my whole life? They almost form right to your foot, immediate comfort. I wear a 7.5 and purchased a straight 7. They fit great!

Great shoe. Well represented in photo. Leather is so soft and never had to be "broken in." Only negative is the support is very firm. I expected with a name like Kork Ease, to have a more cushioned sole. Overall I love the shoe though.

Love them! The tan with the tan leather bottom really flatters the legs. I wear them with everything from shorts, skirts, dresses to jeans and capri\'s. Very comfortable for my normally cranky feet. I can wear them for hours in bliss. Will order other color combos soon.

Love these sandals. I\'ve worn them almost every day since they arrived. They add height without pain since the platform is high. I have a wide foot and the medium width works just fine. The chocolate color hides dirt and goes with everything.

I love these! Am shocked at how comfortable they really are, right out of the box. I might've gone for a 1/2 size if they made them, but I kept my regular size 7. Wish I could afford more colors now. I wanted these in the 70s, but didn't have the money as an acting student. Haven't much more now, but having happy feets makes everything better!

Kork-Ease Ava, Buff: I’m roughly a size 6.5 (and slightly wider than avg.) so I ordered these in size 6 and 7 and the 6 were too narrow/small. I even ordered them in two colors, Chocolate and Buff and despite being the same size (7), the Buff were much wider so I returned the Chocolate. If the Luggage color had been available in my size, I would have preferred that to the Buff which is more like a "nude" (on my computer screen it appears taupe/greenish-beige which it’s not at all.) There’s not much arch support but there is some cushioning; they’re quite comfortable.

I wanted a pair of Kork-Ease shoes and I made the mistake of waiting to buy them. Wonderful shoes from the 1960s and 70s. There was not the Ava style anywhere on the internet. I went to the Kork Ease web site and they didn't have them, either. Can you imagine when Zappos offered to put me on a waiting list for the shoes? Hope. Next day a bunion came up on my foot and the next day an e-mail from Zappos stating that they had my shoes. They shipped them to me free of charge. How could they find what no one else had? The Kork-Ease are wonderful. I can walk forever and they are so fashionable again. I am all smiles. I am proud to say I am a VIP Zappos member and everyone points at my shoes and asks me where I got them. Even more unbelievable is there are magazines that are now selling them and they are very much more expensive. I love being a spokesperson for Zappos. My favorite shoes of all time! I work retail and work 40 hrs a week on my feet. I also have a bad back and knees. I can run a mile in these shoes! So comfortable and cute as well! Looks great with capris, jeans, skirts, etc...I don\'t know what i\'d do if they were ever discontinued!

I've been wanting these shoes for a while; finally broke down and spent the money! Well spent, they are awesome shoes, totally comfortable and stylish. I shopped all day in them, and my feet didn't hurt a bit. If in doubt, get them!

Absolutely LOVE these shoes. They make me feel taller and make my legs feel slimmer. Very fun way to dress up a simple skirt or dress. They run a bit narrow [thank goodness!] so hug your feet nicely. Love how these shoes feel in every way!

These are the most comfortable, and adorable sandals ever. I had these when I was a kid - we called them "buffalo sandals". I’m so happy to have them again. Great platforms with long jeans, skinny jeans, and skirts. They give me great extra height, and I’ve walked in them for hours, up and down hills, and they were fantastic. I got them in "natural". I tried the black leather with the cork heel, but they didn’t have the same footbed cushion that the suede platforms have, and so weren’t as comfortable. These leather straps are soft - excellent quality. I get lots of compliments on them. And Zappos was great with the free upgrade to overnight shipping! I’m very happy.

LOVE THEM! Surprisingly comfortable - I don't usually wear anything with a heel. They're so much fun to wear and they make my legs look great. I wear them with skirts, shorts and pants, all look great. I was too young for the 70's craze and my mother wouldn't let me wear heels, so now I'm letting loose my inner hippy chick.
