I ordered the wide in my son's normal size and it was really big, even though I would say he has a wide foot. Of course, he said they are comfy and he likes the loose fit, but he said the shoes are hot and he is waiting for colder weather to wear them. They look nice, similar to Dr. Martens.

These are great boots! The first day I wore them at the ranch I hiked miles - and many of them were near vertical miles over rough terrain. My feet were comfortable in them all day. True to fit for me - perfect with a two-layer thin microfiber sock (like wright socks). SO cute for around town too. I will be wearing these boots a lot for years to come.
