Although I love the height, comfort and look of this shoe, I\'m not thrilled that I have to adjust the bands across the foot every time I put them on. However, I was warned by a reviewer of this problem. An earlier iteration of this shoe had wide bands that crossed the foot making them more secure and less likely to flap in the back. I wish Donald Pliner would manufacture that style again. The two pairs I bought are worn out. In the meantime, I\'m happy to have any of their shoes of this height.

I own about 60 pairs of shoes, and these shoes fit a good niche for me. I take a lot of dance classes, so my pants tend to be longer; I wear these shoes to give my feet some lift off the ground, and I can quickly slip off the shoes to hit the dance floor. I wear them to work as they are sufficiently dressy, and I can take them off under my desk (and get the shoes back on quickly if necessary!). Best of all, the shoes are very comfortable while still fashionable. I bought them after I recovered from a broken leg and sprained ankle - I wanted to wear heels but I wasn't ready for most types of heels. These shoes are helping to build the muscles back up in my leg and feet, while giving me sufficient stability. The shoes fit true to size. I purchased brown, and love the color.

This shoe is so comfy and cute, but a pain to just kick off or put on. I have to actually use my hands to put these one or take them off...the straps get all bunched up, etc...they didn't do this when I first got them, or I would have shipped back ASAP...still love them, but hate that I can't just kick them off as I would like.

Great Sandal!
I have only worn these around my house since it's not warm here as yet, but these sandals seem very comfy. The straps are a very soft leather and conform to the foot. The wedge isn't too high or too low. Hopefully, this comfort will continue. They look great on the foot. I have a narrowish foot, but bought the medium width and these fit fine.

This is a great DJP wedge. Very comfy and stylish. The black almost could go as a dark brown... very close in color. Found it to run a little wide, but not to the point you couldn't wear it. A narrow would probably be too "narrow".

Love this shoe!!
Stays on your foot... sized as marked... very comfortable as well as stylish... I have a narrow foot and this shoe was a perfect fit.

These shoes are great. The heel that Donald Pliner uses on this particular shoe is the most comfortable of any sandal I have ever had. I have 6 pairs of Donald Pliner shoes with this heel. You can wear them all day and neither your feet nor your legs hurt.

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
