I loved the soft leather and appreciated the unique appearance of this boot, but the shaft was too wide for my calf. My calves are 13.5" at their widest point, and this boot had space for at least a couple of fingers at the top.\r\n\r\nThese would be a comfortable and stylish casual boot for someone with at least average-sized calves.

Super stylish and comfortable boot! If you like La Canadienne style & fit, this will work well for you, at a much lower price. Does run large. I am a 9, sometimes a 9.5, with somewhat wide feet, and the 40 was too big. Had to exchange for the 39, which is perfect. I have average/slender calves, but these are pretty snug, so fitting jeans inside may be difficult for some.

Wonderful boots! I am so happy I bought these. Trust the reviews, they do fit a half to a whole size large. I wear a true 6 and bought the size 36 (5/6) boot. I still have to wear one to 2 pairs of socks with them. No big deal though. They are amazingly comfortable, the most comfortable boot I own and I own quite a few. The leather is very well made and looks as such. They make excellent winter wear boots. I am short (5'1") so I liked the heel shaft being lower than most (12"). I would suggest those who are short like me can go all the way to a 14" heel shaft without the top overlapping the knee. Overall, a wonderful purchase.

Best boot ever! I just got this boot and have already fallen in love! It is such a high quality product and the reviews were so helpful! I am usually a 9, sometimes 8.5, so I ordered size 39 (US 8) and it was a perfect fit! The leather is gorgeous. I chose the Nut Antiqued color and can already see why so many have ordered this boot in both colors. The service at Zappos is unmatched, too! I ordered the boot Thursday at 10 PM and it was delivered to me the very next day! (Free upgrade in shipping, how awesome is that?) I highly recommend this boot to anyone who wants a good-looking, high-quality, comfortable boot without sacrificing style and definitely will continue to praise Zappos to everyone I know!

I bought these boots on the positive reviews. I am amazed at how spot on the reviewers were! I'm a 10 with fussy feet and the 41 is perfection; the leather is soft and the scrunchy effect is really fashion-forward, the heel height is perfect but not dowdy at all. They are a perfect mix of comfort and of-the-moment style. I was surprised though that the rest of the brand is not my style at all. I guess they hit a home run with this boot!

These are great boots for the price. Soft, good quality leather, very cute style and SO comfortable. I wasn't sure about the looks based on the photos, but I went with all the positive reviews. They are cute with pants and dresses. At others' suggestion, I did order a size smaller than my own, and they are still plenty roomy, and I agree that there's not enough structure beneath the ball of the foot, I will buy an insert to bolster it. Arch support is good. I have such trouble finding comfortable shoes, I really can't complain about these boots. I already love them! I hope Rieker will keep this style in production for a long time. Thanks for the great service, Zapppo's!

The boots are very comfortable, but it was very large around my calf. I ended up sending it back. I didn\'t need that much room to tuck my jeans in.

These boots are beautiful! I chose the nutmeg color. The heel is perfect height. I did take the other reviewers advice and ordered a size smaller than I normally wear. I'm a straight seven but ordered a 6 (37). My feet are not wide, but for some reason they feel a little narrow. Maybe if I ordered the 7 they might feel better? I'll give them a try. I'd love to get them in black also!

Unbelievable boots! I have arch problems and have sensitive toes that need comfort. In other words, problematic feet. This is a very wide fit and the most comfortable thing I have ever worn. (I also have severe back problems so this makes it even more special to have found a pair of chic boots!) Buy these boots. You will not regret it. Bought three pairs already. Excellent back and arch support and soft as heaven. Please bring more of these Zappos.

Fabulous Boots!
These boots are just as great as the other reviewers said! Loved them so much in the brown, that I placed my order for the black the very next day. I spend lots of time working in San Fran and these will be great year round!
On sizing, I am usually a straight 7.5, but found the 37 was the right fit.

Super Comfy!
These boosts are so very comfortable! I love them! I have arthritis in my ankles and have not been able to wear high heels for some time now, but the heel on these boots is perfect. The heel is low enough to be comfortable but still high enough to make anything from a skinny jean to a skirt, look very stylish. They could use a bit more cushioning, but I just put an insole and that took care of it. Great Boot!

Love this boot!
I held off on getting these boots for 3 months and finally succumbed. They are super comfortable and stylish. My only quibble is they're a tiny bit big (though not quite a half size bigger) than marked and because of the lining, some socks will ride down when you wear them. Thin cotton nubby socks worked best for me. I'm looking for pretty much any excuse to wear them daily :P

Broke my pinky toe, so was looking for a stylish but comfy boot to wear in the healing process. Struck a "winner". I'd buy it even if I didn't have a bad toesy. Love it, and the heel gives comfort and style. An awesome boot to wear with levis or slacks. Highly recommended

A Truly Comfortable Boot!
This is a truly comfortable boot, and it is warm. The boot does run larger by at least a 1/2 of size. But, it was a great purchase.

Gloves on my feet!
Not only is this a great looking boot, but they feel like gloves on my feet. After receiving the black ones, they were soo...great that I got the brown ones too. I can't wear 3 inch heels anymore and have found it difficult to find low heels with some pizazz, but these are it!!!

This boot is very cute on, the leather looks rich. The fit for me was a size larger than my usual size 8, I needed a 7 instead. I stand on my feet all day and this boot was not as comfortable as I thought it was going to be. I will need to buy a pair of insoles for more comfortable wear. I would recommend them overall.

I purchased these boots in antique nut brown. I have been wearing them every chance I get since the day they arrived. Super cute, way more comfortable than I expected, a little tight in the calves (I do have rather muscular calves, though) but stretched a bit after wearing a few times, soft supple leather, inside is extra cozy. Highly recommend! I had never heard of this brand before but now plan to check out more of their products. Zappos customer service rocks - my boots were sitting on my door step within 24 hours of placing my order.

Finally found comfortable boots!
I've been searching for a comfortable pair of black leather boots for years! In desperation I ordered four pair from Zappos! The first three I tried on just about made me give up, but the fourth pair was the magic Eureka! These are so wonderful. Soft leather that is a great style for dress or jeans! I am absolutely ecstatic! I have arthritis in my feet and really have trouble finding comfortable shoes and these are boots I can wear all day!

OMG, they're comfortable!
I put these boots on and was sorry I owned any other boots. They are soo comfortable! And I mean COMFORTABLE! Leather is glove soft; heel height is great for daily wear. I am speaking as a person with major foot problems. THESE ARE THE BOMB! They are true to size, sock friendly and major cool! I bought the maple colored ones. I am debating the black.

Great everyday boot -
I have really been enjoying this boot. The fit is true to size and it has a comfortable heel you can wear all day without your feet hurting. They look great and go with all pant legs nicely. The fur at the calf is an added bonus of warmth. May get another color. Enjoy

Best boots I have ever worn!
These boots feel like you are wearing your most comfortable fluffy slippers. It hugs your feet with soft leather, just enough thickness of exceptionally smooth feeling insulation and beautiful style. The ankle comes to a nice tight shape where everywhere else fits perfectly snug and they are light as a feather! They are the best boots I have ever worn.
