Tall heel cup - Normally I love Clark's, but these shoes have a tall heel cup that rubs against my ankle. They were cute as a button. I was sad to have to return them.

I have a pair of Clarks sandals that seemed to run a bit big, so I sized down a half-size in these. These, however, seem to be pretty true to size. They fit well enough that I’m not going to return them, but I’ll be sticking to thin socks. My only complaint about these shoes is that they squeak when I walk. Something in the insole, I think. I haven’t worn them enough to find out whether or not it will work itself out.

I like Clarks and generally buy them because they are very comfortable. This shoe, while comfortable, is odd. I got a 9 versus the 9.5 I get in other brands, and it is fine in terms of width and length. What is strange is that the toe box only slightly rubs against my right big toe because of the way the shoe is cut. I have had these shoes for a month now and wear them frequently and have not had any blisters or redness from it, yet the rubbing is there. Like I said, it is just odd. Anyway, I still highly recommend Clarks shoes, just watch the sizing.

I've tried on enough pairs of Clarks shoes at a local discount shoe store to know that I should wear a 6 1/2 W...which the buy-one-get-one-half-off folks NEVER carry. I needed some 'everyday wear' shoes; these fit the bill perfectly and are cute to boot! The toe box was just a teeny bit snug...and the heel is just a teeny bit loose, but the shoes are way better than anything else I've tried on in absolute ages. Not bad; just enough to keep them from rating 5 stars. I'll be watching for other colors to come available in my size!

Attractive loafer -
This shoe looks and feels even better than I expected. The shoe is nicely detailed and looks and fits like an updated loafer, with comfortable lining, pliable leather, a slim sole with a rubber-like non-skid finish, and heel that's practical but dressy enough for the office. On the foot, the loafer-like vamp is an attractive, foot-friendly length that works best with pants or skirts; it is definitely longer than a skimmer. The buckle is functional, but it only has two holes: normal and very loose. I have a wide forefoot and high instep: like other Clarks, this shoe runs wide enough that I'm comfortable in the D width and my normal dress-shoes length (9-1/2) (9-1/2 wide) if I wear it without socks; I will order the next size up to wear with socks. That's the best testimony of all: it's comfortable with or without socks, and the loafer look works well either way, which is more than I expected. I will buy more Clarks in the future.

Looking for navy blue sport shoes is very difficult, because there aren't any. Well--what a pleasant surprise to find this shoe. I read the different critiques and was nervous about the 'loose' heel, but when I bought them, I found them SO good looking and So comfortable that I kept them and am enjoying them. I did buy the things that you stick inside the heel and it worked just fine

The first day I wore these shoes, I wondered if they'd feel good all day. They definitely were. Plus, they look great. The fit is right on and the color is true.

I really like the look of this shoe. I ordered a size up from usual. I found that the shoe was narrow in the heel. The larger size fits better, but I need to wear socks with the shoes.

Fairly comfortable, but not what I expected from Clarks -
These shoes are comfortable (though not as comfortable as other Clark's loafers that I've had), but their construction seems almost a little flimsy. They are lined with some type of synthetic fabric, and the sole doesn't seem as sturdy as I'd hope. Their look is ok, just a very basic loafer.

I have a hard to fit wide foot and can never find Clark's in my area that fit. These shoes were great right out of the box! I wore them all day and my feet didn't hurt - a miracle!

These shoes hurt!
I bought two pair and have worn one pair so far. They are very uncomfortable. I think they fit. They don't feel too tight. They rub on the back of my foot. I am considering returning them. Don't know if it is a matter of breaking them in. I have not had this problem before.

I bought these in brown--and they arrived the very next day--Go Zappos! They were the right size, but a little too narrow in the ball of my foot and I have to return them. It's unfortunate because they're very cute. They'd look cute for work or with jeans.

Comfort at last!
I have many issues with my feet including bunions, and hammertoe. Unpleasant but something that I just have to live with. These are the first shoes I have owned in a decade that I can say I am completely comfortable in. They are also a fairly attractive shoe which is something I had long given up on being able to find if I also wanted comfort. I love them.

Can I get my money back?
I was so unhappy with these after wearing them around that I threw them out. Very ill-fitting. I have a 10 W foot, but these seemed very short. Very weird. They felt fine when I first tried them on, but after wearing them around at work, my toes felt squished against the front of the shoe and my heel was coming out. Plus, they seemed to stretch in the width, so they flared out when I took a step. I just don't think Clarks is the right shoe for me. You can't win them all.

I have had this same shoe in navy & black for a little over a year...could not find brown anywhere until Zappos. still comfortable & stylish but the new brown loafers have a more pointed toe which I like the looks of the more rounded toe better. I have over 50 pairs of Clarks loafers, clogs etc. They are the overall best for style, comfort & support. I have 1 pair of a brown loafer that the brand & price are up above Clarks & O cannot wear for long periods of time...I can shop all day in Clarks & my feet do not hurt then or that night nor the next day. I guess I need to get some stock in the company...I have recommended to all my friends & they love them also.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn to work and I am on my feet all day! I have this shoe in a wide, given my wide foot, and it fits perfectly, even at the end of the day. Maybe not the best choice if you need a dressier shoe, but good for the office and with more casual dress pants. Take care of the leather and they will continue to look great. Arch support is okay, but these shoes may not work if you cannot live without orthotics.

Thankful for a good quality shoe.
Because I wear an artificial leg it is difficult for me to find the kind of shoe that I can wear and one that is so comfortable as the one that I recently purchased. It fits like a glove and I can wear it all day with all around comfort. Thanks and I am interested in buying another pair of shoes with the same heel height and type of shoe.

Though the shoe is a little on the casual side, the overall shape and buckle make it very stylish for a casual shoe. The shoe is very comfortable as well.

Walk to work comfort -
I walk to work and purposely ordered these shoes a half size larger than usual so that I could wear heavier socks. The shoes are "Clarks comfortable" - no surprise there and look pretty nice.
