I bought these boots in October last year because my last experience with Hush Puppies boots was so positive. Due to the early season purchase they were very rarely used in inclement weather until I was at the airport in January. In the slush, the front of the sole came apart from the boot. A long way from home and a ton of glue later, these boots are garbage. Craftsmanship: 1 star.

I returned these boots. They were true to size and the quality appeared good but along with what another reviewer said I found the boot not well fitted around the hankle and the internal sole had an uncomfortable ridge I felt across the middle of my foot. Overall they looked great but did not have a comfortable, stable fit.

These boots are fabulous! The size is true and they are excellent quality. I received them very quickly and I must say I have received excellent service from Zappos.com each and every time that I have ordered from them. The quality and service are superb. I couldn't be more pleased with my boots and with Zappos.com!

Really comfortable, but not that flattering. The foot area is kind of baggy, making the boot more of a casual boot, not a fashionable one. Wish they were more fitted in the foot. Will be returning them. Bummer!

Comfy but run a little small and little wide on calf -
They look absolutely great but as previous reviews said good for people with a little wider calf. Felt half size smaller.

Love these! The leather seems really nice and they have a great fuzzy red lining. Unfortunately I didn't actually measure my calf before ordering, and I can't quite zip them up the last inch. :( They are cute enough that I might see what a cobbler can do.

Finally!!
I finally found boots! I have a wider calf and have looked everywhere and ordered several only to have to send them back. I'm rather picky, in that they must be real leather and be somewhat fashion forward. These fit the bill perfectly and zip up nicely. They also are very comfortable. I wore them right out of the box for 8 hours straight!

Love these boots!!!! I found these while looking for tall boots that were comfortable, warm, and durable. These are the first boots I have had that were all of these things!!! I highly recommend them!

Hush Puppies boots -
I really love the feel of these boots - they have a fleece-like lining and the soles are very comfortable. They have a very wide calf which can be hard to find in many boots. The only real complaint I have is the look of toe. It is rounded upwards and somehow just looks strange to me.

Extra roomy -
These boots look great in the box, but don't fit so great. I have wide, flat feet, and larger calves. There was quite a bit of room around the top of the boot, but the worst part was that there was zero arch support. In fact, the design of the boot caused my foot to pronate inward.

I'm impressed! Few companies care about customer service anymore because they seem to believe they have American consumers "over a barrel." Why provide good customer service when they don't have to? At least goes the thinking. I deplore talking to "Customer Service" representatives in overseas. I don't understand them and they don't understand me. And they don't solve problems, they just read from printed cue cards. So...THANK YOU for caring about customer service. It DOES matter to me, it DOES matter to the American public. Next time I need shoes, you'll be the first place I shop.
