I sadly sent this back as the fit was strange. I'm usually a size 4 or 6 (size 4 jeans at the gap fit me perfectly), but I know that Mountain Hardwear stuff runs small, so I ordered an 8. It would have been fine, it hung a few inches below my belly button, which is where I like skirts to be, but it was too tight across the hips! it was totally weird: loose and low on the waist and kind of pulled at the tops of my thighs. I've never had this problem before. Maybe it would fit well on someone with a "straighter" figure. Otherwise, the fabric is a soft, dense, wrinkle-free blend and it would have been great for winter with tights and boots. (I should add that my husband didn't like it all and said it looked like a sack. Oh well!)

I have really worn this skirt a lot, in the gray color. It is cute and the fabric is very soft. It is holding up well to washing. It's probably more of a fall/winter garment due to the weight of the fabric.

Lofoten Skirt -
This skirt is not for people who are a little meaty in the thighs. It makes your thighs look bigger. It also runs small, so unless you like it hugging your natural waste, buy a size up so it hangs off of your hips. The material is really nice and heavy, good material for a winter skirt and has that soft look that it does in the picture. Overall I would have kept it the cut was a little different.
