Wow! La Canadienne has outdone themselves. The cherry red croco patent leather is amazing! I was looking for an all weather boot as an alternative in the snow, rain and slush to my black "Chewbacca" snow boots. Something I could wear to work with a cleaner line and more stylish. I decided I'd invest in a pair of La Canadienne's after reading the reviews on Zappos and I couldn't be happier. Being in the design field, I took a chance on the bright red, and was oh so tired of the usual black snow boots. The red is much more rich than in the photos, and after wearing them for a 9 hour workday and to a company party, my feet felt really comfortable. I've never had a pair of boots that didn't "pinch" after that many hours before. Not to mention the fact that I had no less than 10 people throughout the day fuss over them and ask me where I got them. I had to tell them Zappos. You're the best!

I fell in love with these boots when I took them out of the box, and when I put them on it was pure heaven! Great fit, great look. Shapely, sexy, and comfortable--everything I\'ve been looking for! Sizes run a little small, I normally take 8.5 but the 9 fit perfectly...

Comfy boots!
This boot is very well made. The leather is very soft to the touch right out of the box, and they already feel like they've been broken in! Nice sturdy heel and zipper. Probably not for people with larger calves. My calves are slim and this boot fits perfectly. I usually wear an 8.5 but they were out of that size so I ordered a 9. Fits great, although an 8.5 would have worked out, too. I would say they run true to size. Usually I go for boots with lots of buckles and embellishments, but these are very simple and classic so they will go with so many outfits and never go out of style.

This boot is going back. The quality is very very nice, however the fit is off. As another reviewer noted, it looks baggy in the ankle area, kind of like a pair of pantyhose that rides down the leg and sits on the ankle. While it is beautiful leather and fine workmanship, the fit wrecks it. Too bad. I also thought the cut of this particular boot was a bit plain Jane, with nothing of interest. I am tall and thin with small calves, and it may fit a larger woman differently. I don't have anything against the brand though, it is really top quality.

Perfect -
Very attractive and versatile boot, absolutely gorgeous leather. Great quality - and perfectly comfortable, even on the first day. We're fast heading out of boot season, so I'll probably only get to wear these a handful of times more before putting them away. Already looking forward to bringing them out again next year! I'm sure they'll be a main staple for many, many chilly seasons to come.

Canadienne Stella -
Love this boot. I ordered four different boots from this brand and finally settled on these. They have excellent arch support, true to size, soft leather, and a narrow shaft. I have size 10 feet, but am relatively thin through the calves and these fit perfectly. Can tuck jeans into them or wear them with tights. They are narrow in the ankle as well. I have boots from a high end store and for the same price, these are MUCH better. Much more comfortable, and to a point, they really ARE waterproof.

Great Boots -
I ordered these boots in both black and brown and am completely satisfied with the product. I get compliments all the time. You can immediately spot the high quality of the leather; the fit and workmanship is outstanding! The boot has a really classic styling and looks good with jeans and dress clothes as well. Will be able to wear these boots for years to come.

Too short, fit odd -
I love my Pisa la canadiennes and went for the brown suede Stellas. I was so disappointed when I tried them on. The suede is lovely, the lining is soft and python print, however the fit was just way off. My foot is medium width 6.5, and the 6 was long enough but too narrow. When I zipped it up it was tight on my instep but loose at the ankle and calf (I have skinny calves). It was too short, not even near knee length which is a problem I have with the La Canadiennes. The boot ended about 2 inches from my knee, not a good look, and I'm only 5'7". Overall I was so sad because it was clearly a quality boot I would have loved to wear, but it just did not fit right. I had to send them back.

I have ordered La Canadienne boots in the past - and they just keep getting better. These boots are very comfortable (low heel is nice), but also very stylish. I have worn them with skirts above the knee and tights - very cute. Also, wore them with jeans. Comfort is as important to me as style - these offer both (and they are waterproof as well).

Another classic -
This shoe is terrific, clean lines, great fit on me, and low heels always help. Shaft length and width are good on me, too, like La Canadiennes were made just for me. Will carry me through lots of fashion changes. Waterproof and easy to clean, hopefully it will last long, because it's not cheap! I love La Canadiennes! I can no longer shop anywhere else but Zappos for shoes, and really don't need to. Thanks guys!

Love this brand!
Great boot. Always feel good when I wear them. You can make it look a bit hip by wearing leg warmers scrunched around the top of them. They are immediately comfortable, and this brand lasts forever.

Just Right!
I already have two pair of fine boots, but was looking for a stylish yet functional (read: waterproof) pair that wouldn't compete with the other two. Friends of mine swear by La Canadienne, so I included them in my exhaustive search. First off, they arrived early (on the house from Zappos), which is always exciting. But most of all they were pretty perfect: the right shade of brown (which can be rather dull) and the fit...well, I felt like Cinderella trying on the glass slipper -- made just for me! (Alert: girls with skinny [but athletic] calves will adore these.) I can see these being a staple of my fall / winter wardrobe for years to come.

I have never once had a bad experience with Zappos.com and have found even returning a product is pain-free. Many people find buying shoes online to be a process that is a hassle based on shipping costs and not getting a chance to see the shoe actually on their foot, but you have done a tremendous job not only making shipping easy, and FREE, but also providing a number of angles for a shoe online so it can best be represented without physically holding it. I have purchased numerous shoes, sandals and boots from Zappos over the years and have never once been disappointed. Most recently, I was upgraded to expedited shipping for free on my most recent purchase, which again pointed out why I love Zappos so much! My educational background is a degree in marketing as well as an MBA focused in strategic management, which makes me extra critical of things like customer service as well as other business functions. Zappos always comes up as my example of companies who are doing things right and charting their own path to success. I recommend your site to people all the time and hopefully they will experience the delight I have come to know as 'the norm' when dealing with Zappos.
