"Just Misses the Mark!"
The good qualities are workmanship, good basic colors, stability, design, fabric wearability, and comfortable sole. The shoe misses the mark because it slips on your heel if you have a narrow foot and was not designed in the heel correctly to eliminate this problem.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I could not find another shoe like this one. I tried.

Comfortable, but expensive -
Although this shoe is very expensive, I ordered it because I have had good luck with the few other pairs of Stuart Weitzmans that I own. I needed a nice looking shoe to wear with skirts or pants, but have had problems finding something that looks nice (not orthopedic) and fits me. I have wide feet, bunions, and a narrow heel, and finding a pair of shoes that works for me is always difficult. I wore these shoes all day today and did not have any problems. There was a slight rubbing on one of my pinky toes, but nothing major and I am sure after I wear these another time or two that that problem will go away. I was happy to find these on Zappos and as usual Zappos delivered them very quickly. I did not give this shoe 5 stars for comfort because they do not have very much arch support, but otherwise they were very comfortable. If this changes as I wear them more, I will write another review.

I've worn an earlier version of this shoe. The support, comfortability, and true size make it an easy choice. It looks great with pants. It is not a dressy shoe, but a very casual and reliable shoe. I've been a Stuart Weitzman fan for decades. I have a very narrow heel and finding a fit has been a lifelong struggle. I still have the original pair in navy and I am glad to add the updated black to my wardrobe.
