I was skeptical at first, but these are truly the most comfortable shoes ever! It took me about a day to get used to them because they fit more loosely than most shoes, particularly in the heel. When I wear them, I feel that my spine adjusts back into alignment. They also look nice enough to wear to the office. As usual, Zappos\' shipping service was incredibly fast and easy.

I'm a big fan of the Dansko professionals. I have about 4 pairs already! They are so comfortable, it's ridiculous. Hands down the only shoes I can walk or stand in all day without ending up with blisters or aching feet. I couldn't resist this color. It's better in person than in the photos. It's a really dark gunmetal grey. Beautiful. And of course, Zappos.com is the only place to shop. They are the best! I have never had anything but a delightful experience with their service and team.

Dansko (I have many pairs) is what I wear the majority of the time since I'm walking all over a large campus during the week. I love the weathered gray color that works well with fall fashions. They feel true to "Dansko" size, a little tight across the top to begin with; however, they break-in easily and have plenty of toe room and arch support.

I love Dansko shoes. I am a nurse and have worn nothing else since I started nursing school 11 years ago! They provide great support for my arches, provide slip on comfort and are nice enough to wear out! I wear them at work and at home! I totally appreciated the convenience of ordering them from home! Zappos got them delivered quickly and in perfect shape!

Cute, but not even close to my size -
I take a 9.5 W, so I ordered this in the 40 Wide (9.5-10). The shoe came quickly, as usual (thanks Zappos!) and the color (Hickory) was perfect. The shoes were cute, if a bit nurse-y, but I knew that going in. The size, however, was absolutely wrong! It felt much more like an 8.5. I couldn't even squeeze my foot into the shoe. I'm really disappointed, as I was looking forward to these and they do not have them available in stock in a larger size.

These shoes are well made and the design is very comfortable. I no longer have foot pain on my first few steps out of bed in the morning. The only trouble I have is that my feet have high arches and presses against the top of the shoe which is not pleasant. I hope the break-in period will be quick. These size and width are true to the label. If you need wide then get a wide.

Overall, I love these shoes, I like the style, the fit, all of that. I purchased them in the Grey color though and have been very disappointed with the quality of the dye, or polish, or whatever it is. I noticed the toe started doing what I thought was scuffing about a week into having them. Since I love them, and spent quite a bit on them, it was driving me nuts! My boyfriend who wears boots for work all day and is used to polishing his shoes looked into it and found me some grey shoe polish to take care of it because he knew it was driving me nuts. In his attempts to get rid of the scuffs, we realized that even to take a cotton ball soaked in water against them, the grey color completely comes off, showing a light silvery grey underneath, making them look awful! The grey wasn't enough to cover it, so we used some black and were able to cover it up pretty well, without making them look totally black (we faded it in pretty well). I am just very disappointed that something I spent so much money on got pretty much ruined so quickly. I don't feel they should have scuffed like that, never mind the color rubbing off so easy! I would buy these shoes again, but would likely go with one of more suede-like materials, in black, so scuffs wouldn't show as much, and if they did, I am guessing they would be easier to cover!

I have a lot of issues with my feet and pain. Anything I wore to work would end up leaving me in pain at the end of my shift. I bought these because everyone who works in the OR wears them and I also see a lot of the nurses I work with wearing them, too. The first 3 days wearing these I hated them wondering why everyone raved about them. I guess that was the break in period because I kept wearing them and now I love them. Again, I have issues with pain in my feet but I was determined to get past breaking them in and was well worth it! I recommend these very much. I find them very much more comfortable than any of the other shoes I have tried in the past; even tried wearing my running sneakers to work but they ended up hurting as well.

Very functional shoes that can dress up or down, not hugely stylish. Very good foot support. They are listed as being 8.5 to 9 US sizes and I would say they are much closer to 8.5 than 9. They do stretch a bit after wearing them for about an hour.

I purchased a pair of black Danskos last fall after having arch support issues from the cement floors I walk on every day. Flat shoes just were not going to work even though they were fashionable for the season. I loved my Danskos and they became my "go to shoes" for the winter months. Then this fall I decided to expand my collection with a new color of Danskos. I wear them with everything and my feet appreciate the support.

I\'m so happy with these shoes. I wear them to work almost every day. Like the other Danskos I\'ve purchased, they are incredibly comfortable. I was wearing very thin socks when I first tried them on, but it just took me a moment to get used to the way Danskos fit. They\'re pretty cute, too. I usually wear them with work slacks, but they also look great with a skirt and black tights in winter.

This style in Dansko is always comfortable, supportive and fits my wide feet. That\'s why I have 4 pair (different colors) currently. If my day involves a lot of walking, I\'ll use this shoe over all others. Can\'t go wrong with this shoe.

I really like these shoes but I have a narrow foot. It took trying 3 different pairs of 41 narrows before finding one that fit! Each pair is handmade, so Dansko told me to keep trying different pairs until I got one that would work. Don\'t give up on the first pair if it does not seem to be a true narrow. I love the shoes and they keep my feet comfortable while working on the plane all day!! Being that NO STORE carries narrows (they all must be special ordered)...Zappos wonderful and FAST return policy/shipping enabled me to find a pair that fit. Thank you ZAPPOS!!!

I love these shoes! I currently work in retail and I will be on my feet all day running around and my feet don't ache all night when I get home or the next day, and they feel great when I put them on the next day. This shoe has so much comfort and support I would highly recommend them to anyone who is on their feet all day, or even part of the day, and they are really cute and can be worn with pants or shorts. My mom also wore them during her nursing career. I also ride horses and they are very popular in the horse world where you can also be on your feet a lot. I know many people who wear these shoes and love them, and they last a long time so you don't have to replace them (since they are expensive, but worth every penny, and this is the only site that doesn't charge shipping and lets you return for a different size if needed for free as well). I normally wear a 6-6.5 shoe and I was told these run a little big so I got a 36 normal and they fit perfect (I have a slightly wider than normal foot, but not considered wide and the regular 36 fits just right). I love these shoes.

Great shoes, great comfort, great with jeans! Will get another pair when these wear out. I wouldn't say they are the cutest and most stylish. However, comfort for long days is a must.

These are my fall/winter stand-by shoes. Because of their thick sole, these do great in rain and puddles and also keep my feet up off the ground in winter which keeps them warmer. Also, they feel great.

I love Dansko clogs, especially when you have to be on your feet all day long. I have plantar fasciitis and usually use a prosthetic in my shoes; however, with Dansko clogs I get enough support I don't need them. Purchasing shoes from Zappos was quick, easy and the product was shipped right away.

These shoes were recommended to me by both my Pilates instructor and my dental hygienist as a possible solution to the pain and discomfort of the neuroma I've suffered with for more than a year. The shoes are thoroughly comfortable, it's a pleasure just to stand in them, and there's no need to wear my orthotics with them. Although I was initially reluctant to wear a clog-like shoe with business attire, these shoes are such high-quality leather that they can be worn even with a business suit. I highly recommend them for anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet.

Don't buy. This is the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. I am a teacher, on my feet all day. My feet ache at the end of the day. I have just wasted this money. Buyer beware!

These shoes were recommended to me by a person who works in a busy emergency room. I bought the shoes and I have been very satisfied with how comfortable they are and how they look. I\'m on my feet for 10 or 12 hours a day. At the end of the day my feet are not sore or tired.

Comfort, if this is what you are after this shoe fits the bill. I work in the film industry and work very long days a lot of the time. I love wearing Danskos. They give pretty good arch support. They are loose on my foot so they aren't rubbing anywhere. I like wearing them with bare feet the best, although socks are fine as well. They look kind of cute with knee socks and a skirt. I've worn these for 15 years or so and always come back to them when I really want a comfortable shoe. They aren't the sexiest shoe, but they do make me taller. You have to go up a full size in these or they won't fit. I forgot and had to exchange the first pair I bought. You want them to move on your foot. They stay on because of the design and the back so they don't slip off like clogs sometimes do, but you want them to move a bit while you walk, too. Little things: they do scuff easily especially the matte finish ones and you can see the staples on them. I still obviously think they are worth it, though.

I really love the look of these shoes. Had someone ask me the first day I wore them where I got them from...told them Zappos. Explained the win-win type of deal at Zappos, where you don\'t pay postage even on returns. How can you go wrong?

This is my first pair of Dansko shoes. I am a RN and am on my feet for 12 hour shifts. My feet and back feel much better since wearing them. I had no "adjustment" time at all, which most of my coworkers say is normal. I love them!

Before I write the review, I thought it would be helpful for you to have some background so that you could understand the context of my critique. I have a very narrow foot. I am probably actually a 9AAA or 9AAAA, but since it is impossible to find stylish shoes in that size at a reasonable price I can make do with some 8M if it runs slim and has a high-cut vamp (such as a boot) or 8N if it runs long. I also have worn 8 1/2 N. I ordered this shoe in a 39 Narrow, same size as other open-backed clogs that I own (not Dansko brand). I'm sending the shoe back because I find it a bit short in one shoe and overall much too wide. Even with a thick sock my feet are slipping all over the place. (So the shoe is short front-to-back and wide side-to-side.) I have ordered a 40 Narrow as a Hail Mary in hopes that I can make the fluke-y fit work for me. I'm guessing that I'll have to send that back too, but hope springs eternal! It seems like this shoe fits best on a foot that is sort of flat and wide at the forefoot. I would guess that a person who has a slightly slimmer than B (medium) width foot with a low arch would fit well in this shoe. The Cordovan is a beautiful color and I can believe that it wouldn't stain easily. The shoe is heavier (both in weight and appearance) than a traditional clog with a wood base. Also, if you have slender legs, don't plan on wearing these with a skirt or dress, unless you like looking like Olive Oyl or Frankenstein.

I was born with two club feet and while I have done my share of dancing, hiking, and generally having fun with feet that work okay, the many operations left them rather unpretty, a little misshapen and definitely wider/shorter than most feet in proportion to the carrying bodies. Finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is a rarity for me. I search through stores regularly, more often than not
leaving empty handed. I took a chance with Zappos. There were some excellent deals and the size claimed to be what I might need. A box arrived. It said "Packed with Happiness." Inside was my order – 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. They not only all fit, they all fit amazingly well. The box may very well have been packed with happiness, but let me tell you, not as much happiness as it was opened with!!! Thank you oh so much. You can't imagine what this is for me.
