I just received these and they are awesome. I bought the purple/grey ones and there is even detail in the purple color, very cute. Ryka is the best, as far as I'm concerned, this is the only shoe I wear for work (I'm a nurse). I have long hours on my feet and a lot of walking and Ryka is the only shoe that makes my feet feel good. They are comfortable, great arch support, lots of wiggle room in the toes and there is no breaking in period. They are also lightweight. This was the first time I bought from Zappos and I am extremely happy. I ordered the shoes on a Tuesday evening and they had free shipping and I received the shoes on Thursday afternoon, less than 48 hours for Internet shopping. Wow!

I am surprised a what a great shoe these turned out to be. I was willing to pay up to about twice what I paid for these! I really only wanted one thing, comfort and good support. These shoes fit my inserts perfectly and have a high enough back on the heel so your foot doesn't slide out when inserts are put in. The other great thing is the wider toe box. I always used New Balance because of that and have not had good luck with the last two kinds of NBs that I bought. I stand on my feet all day so when I work out it is essential that my feet are in a very good shoe due to the extra stress on my arches and feet. I love these shoes and the price makes them twice as nice. They also look nice on top of everything else. I will be buying them again.

I have had Rykas in the past so I knew of their fit and comfort. I love this shoe! It's a nice snug fit around my ankles and is as true-to-size as I've ever found. I do a lot of gym activity, from kick boxing, step, high aerobics to spin and this shoe gives the perfect support for me.

I bought these based upon the recommendation of my exercise instructor and am happy with them 100%. She advised me that Ryka tends to run a little small and suggested I order a larger size; I did take a larger size in a similar Ryka shoe, but was my usual size for this particular shoe which is the one I kept. It is flexible and comfortable with the right amount of padding and support for my cardio and strength classes. I will buy more of this brand!

The shoes are wonderful. I followed the advice in other reviews and ordered 1/2 size larger. They fit perfectly and are so very comfortable - no break in required.

Great workout sneakers - I purchased these sneakers after wearing Asics for almost a year and loving them (but couldn't find another pair that had the same results). I thought I would give Rykas a try. Love these sneakers; very lightweight. Had to order a whole size up, though. I like toe room. I also ordered the mid height in black and the studio flex went up a half a size in those. I do cardio kickboxing weight training and these shoes are excellent. I think Rykas are my new workout shoe. And with Zappos return policy and free shipping both ways you can't lose.

These are very comfortable shoes from the very first day that you wear them. I like that they are synthetic because I'm a vegetarian that does not wear animal skins. I like them so much that I bought two pairs, one in blue and one in purple.

I bought these shoes last year to replace a pair of Adidas shoes that were ripping up my ankles. This is truly one of the best pair of fitness shoes I have ever owned. Rykas are designed to specifically fit a woman's foot so they are narrower in the ankle area and wider in the toe box. This makes for a perfect fit! Usually when I wear a new pair of tennis shoes for the first week or two, my feet hurt around the ball of the foot. These shoes did not hurt my feet at all. I have been comfortably wearing them for almost a year now. I have worn these shoes for the following activities: a jazz dance class I take once a week, zumba, spinning, running on the treadmill (11 miles a week), using the elliptical, step aerobics, kick boxing, body pump & doing various exercise DVD's at home. The only reason I am actually replacing them is because I have worn the tread down even though the outside still looks new since I do not wear these outside. I ordered my regular shoe size and it fit perfectly. A previous reviewer mentioned that these shoes are very light. I agree. These shoes do not feel like blocks on my feet. I wear arch supports in all of my fitness shoes, but I would consider these shoes to be supportive considering that I have worn them to exhaustion. When I first got them, I didn't really care for the style. I thought the silver trim looked a bit cheap. I almost picked a different pair because of this. Once I wore them, they was no turning back. They are neutral enough to match all of my fitness clothes. I would highly recommend these shoes to anybody who is as much of a fitness freak as I am. Rykas will be the only fitness shoes I put on my feet now.

Have worn Rykas for years until they discontinued my shoe. Took awhile, but I found the Core Strength Trainer. I love it. Should have heeded the previous reviewers as they were right. You have to order a half size larger and then it is perfect. Hope they keep these around for a long time. And Zappos is one great company to do business with.

I was looking for a shoe I could comfortably wear at the gym, and I found one in this Ryka. I ordered the shoe in my usual size, and it's a perfect fit. I'm not thrilled with the way they look, but these light shoes breathe and remain comfortable throughout my workout; they do fit the bill.

I love, love these work-out shoes! They are light and are constructed so that they breathe and my feet never feel hot. Besides their construction and comfort, they are really cute. I have had many compliments on them! Actually, they are the best looking work-out shoes I’ve ever had. For me, they run true to size.

This is a very stylish shoe. It has a very comfortable heel; it’s snug, which is comfortable on my foot. The toe box is wider than in other shoes, and the shoe does run a good half size small. It provides good lateral support. I use the shoe for core training classes and walking. I recommend it. (I also appreciate the free upgraded expedited shipping from Zappos!)

I’ve been wearing Rykas for several years and have been pleased with their comfort. Once again I’m very happy with my new Rykas - very comfortable and the color is nice, not so bright white. I always buy a half size larger than I usually wear.

Out of the box comfort and a great value for the money! I love the style and support this shoe provides. Order it a half-size larger. The shoe is less purple/lavender and more grey/silver with faint lavender undertones. I always have problems with the hard inner seams that seem to rub on the side and top of my toes. There is none of that with this extremely comfortable shoe.

These shoes are so comfortable. The heels fit better than other sport shoes and don't slide up and down when I'm walking. I have had Ryka shoes before and this is the only brand I would like to buy because the fit is perfect for a woman's more narrow foot and heel.

These shoes are AWESOME! I tried a couple of different brands and these, by far, were the most comfortable and looked good on. I do step aerobics, elliptical machines, treadmills, I run/walk hills, I do cardio kick-box, and for all of it, these shoes are wonderful. I will buy them again when these wear out... and thank you Zappos for fast shipping and wonderful service!

Although I do shop Zappos a lot, I bought these shoes locally today. Looking for a good starter shoe for walking/jogging/running. Love the shoe... but must go up a half size for a proper fit. Good support all around, and cute. Look much better in person (the picture doesn’t do it justice). These are my first ever pair of Ryka shoes. I’m pleased with the comfort and support. I can already tell there will be no breaking in time at all. Felt 1/2 size smaller. Felt true to width.

Better than Pace Walker by Ryka -
I have had Ryka Pace Walkers for the past several years. Unfortunately, the last two pairs I ordered did not fit the same (different factory?). The right foot had a weird ankle support piece on the inside of the shoe which really was uncomfortable. I tried New Balance and ASICS and Brooks to no avail. Anyway, Zappos as always was just the best. After returning the pairs I had tried, I ordered these Ryka Core Strength Trainers. They are fabulous! Great arch support, comfortable for many, many miles of walking (like 6-10 each morning). I've had major back surgery with instrumentation so my shoes are critical! These are wonderful and so is Zappos! Thank you Zappos.

Once I know my size in Ryka's I always order them from now on. They are so comfortable you don't have to break them in. I'm a Jazzercise instructor, so I look for a supportive and comfortable shoe for high impact and lateral moves.

Love Ryka but this was too wide for me -
I ordered this shoe hoping it would be as great as my MC2 Run Rykas, but it was not. It was too wide for my foot - lots of room in the toe/front foot area. I put a gel pad in the shoe hoping to fill it up more and I also wanted a little more spring in the shoe as I use it for aerobics. Nice look - not stark white which I like.

I just ordered and returned these shoes. I liked how they looked and they were very comfy when I first tried them on. The soles were really supportive and cushioned. The toe box was way too wide for my feet, which are not very narrow or very wide. They also rubbed the back of my heel a bit when I walked around. They were nice shoes, just didn’t fit me.

Disappointed with fit and feel -
I bought this sneaker in the hopes that it would give me more comfort in my workouts, particularly on the balls of my feet. Trying them on around the house was ok, but for workouts, not so much. I followed the advice of other reviews and bought a half size larger, but it still feels like my toes are falling over the cushioning in front and they feel loose around my heel no matter how tight I tie them. The upside is that they look great and for weight training classes, they're not too bad. I would not buy another pair of Rykas, but will stick it out with these until I get the value out of them.

I'm so happy with this shoe. Got the silver and lavender... they're sharp, comfy immediately, and it's the first walking/cross trainer I've worn in years that I didn't need gels inside. I wear a 7, but got 7.5 and it fits great.

 |  | I just wanted to write in because I have placed many orders in the last couple of months and returned several of the pairs. I am leaving for a trip to Paris in a couple of weeks and I've been searching for the right pair. I've not had much luck, but I wanted to let you guys know that it isn't because I've been unhappy with my shopping experience with Zappos. Quite the opposite actually. Because your customer service and purchasing/returning policy is so great - I just keep coming back. So thank you, for making life easier for those of us who lack the time to run around to the various shoe stores around town.
