I purchased these to be house slippers. The run wider than the average shoe. Over all they are comfortable but do not compare to Birks, so if you are looking for a cheap version of Birks, you won't find it here. However, they are comfortable in their own right and make great 'at home' shoes.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Haflinger and Birkenstock

WAY TOO WIDE -
These were way too wide - but if you wear a VERY thick sock, it is ok. I use mine strictly for slippers, so they are fine. Don't think these are a cheap version of an indoor Birkenstock because there is no comparison. It's not Birk fit or feel.

 |  | Can I just say, I have always hated shopping for shoes until I stumbled upon Zappos. Zappos has changed the way I shoe shop. Since discovering Zappos, it is the only place I shoe shop. No more dragging from store to store to find the right shoes and the right size. I love Zappos! I have ordered dress shoes, boots and casual shoes from Zappos. On occasions I have had to return shoes because they just were not what I wanted; either they did not feel right or they were not the look I wanted. The return policy is so easy and Zappos does not make you feel guilty for returns! P.S. My husband even shops from Zappos now. He cannot believe how great the customer service is. We love you Zappos!
