At first, I wasn't sure if I liked these better than New Balance, but the other day I put the New Balance on, and I have to say, there is a big difference. There is much more support and cushion in the Aasics. Think I might be switching. They fit good, they feel good, and they look good. I really am glad I tried something different. Excellent shoe for walking, jogging.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I would recommend these. New Balance is good, but these are better!!!

This Asics running shoe just did not feel right on my foot. It is very comfortable, but it felt like it would rub terribly under my ankle bone. Wore it around the house for a few hours, but couldn't imagine running in them. Bottom line is that everyone’s feet are different; you just have to find the one that works for you.

Fantastic.
I've now had these shoes for about 2 weeks, and they have gotten a lot of use. I recently built myself a treadmill desk (look it up if you haven't heard of it) and am now walking at work most of the day. I tried 4 pairs of shoes before settling on these.
I am a supinator/under-pronator and I have high arches. (I wear out the outsides of my shoes.) I was having some pain behind my knees before I got these shoes, and the pain was gone within 2 days once I switched. If you are also an under-pronator, I'd recommend these highly.
These shoes are very light and well cushioned and flexible. There is great support across the mid foot (if you desire it) by tightening the laces. However, there is a lot of room in the toe box, which I love. They were very comfortable right out of the box.
I gave it a 4 star rating for looks because the purple and white isn't exactly subtle, but overall, they are quite attractive. Just a little loud. I will definitely buy Asics Gel shoes again.

I ordered 5 pairs of sneakers and kept 2 of them (thank you Zappos!). This was one of the keepers. Comfortable, good arch support and light weight.

What I liked most about this shoe was that I could put it on and wear it all day as though I had worn it many times before. No breaking in. So very comfortable immediately. Also it looks good.

Great shoe!
I am an underpronator and there are very few shoes out there that don't hurt my surgically repaired ankle. These are cushioned for my feet and still very stable. I wish they came in black also. I would buy another pair.

These are great shoes but they run large and wide. I normally wear a 10 wide, and I'm re-ordering these for a 9.5. They look great and I can tell with the right size and my foot, they will be very comfortable.

 |  | Hello! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who works for Zappos. As of yesterday, I've ordered from Zappos five times over the last couple years. I usually get my orders the next day, and the longest it's taken has only been two days, and I think that's just awesome! At my job I work in customer service and think it's very important to like to help people in a job like that. I can tell Zappos employees must love their jobs because everyone does such great job. With every one of my orders, it only proves there really isn't a better place to shop on line, (or shop anywhere, in general)!
