Great colors, look good with fall and winter colors. They are very comfortable. They are good for people like me who love the fit and look of Birks, but think the cork exposed and hanging out of the back looks bad.

Cute comfortable and last forever -
I am still wearing Birkenstocks I got 15 years ago like this shoe except white! Worn once every week or two and looking great! If you like the funky birk look you will love these. The color is just like the picture and beautiful. Like all birks it is very therapeutic for your feet. Sometimes you pay a wee bit more at Zappos but it is worth it for fast delivery, superior service and customer support. After all, when buying shoes on line there is always a possibility you will need to exchange a size or something, so it is good to Zappos in your corner.

What did I expect?
Years ago I was a Birkinstock gal and these caught my eye as I was looking for some sort of closed toe flat with a strap. I opened the box and thought UGG! But... after trying them on and wearing them around the house I'm a hippie again! They took some getting used to (the feel is much different than my good ol' Danskos) but I am going to keep them, even wore them out last night and had no problem. They are slightly shorter and wider than expected (I wear a 42 narrow) but because of the way the toe box is shaped and the strap, it's not going to be a problem. I love the blackberry color!! I wish more shoes came in size 11AA.

I had been shopping for the perfect pair for about two weeks for an upcoming wedding this weekend in Florida and was at my last wit. Trying to find dressy sandals with a wide width size and low heels was impossible. I knew they were the perfect ones when I saw them on your web site, but I was not sure I would receive the shoes on time.
