My husband gave me these gorgeous red boots for my 70th birthday last week. I wore them to work for the first time yesterday, which was Valentine's Day. My co-workers love them, almost as much as I do. Despite having very high arches that necessitate my being very careful when choosing shoes, these boots fit beautifully and felt quite comfortable all day long. After losing over 100 pounds as a result of gastric bypass surgery and on reaching such a milestone birthday, my husband felt I deserved some red cowgirl boots. And so do I!

YES! These boots ROCK!
I've looked for the perfect cowboy boots for years. I was in Texas twice, and didn't find the right combination of look, comfort and price. I wanted red cowboy boots that were made in Texas, not China. I looked at Zappos.com for a long time waiting for the right pair. And I got them! I LOVE them! I have gotten so many compliments for them. I wear them with jeans or skirts, or whatever. I have never had cowboy boots before, so I wasn't sure how they were supposed to fit, but they are fine! I'm a singer/musician in a rock band, & I wanted to have something for gigs that was both comfortable and sexy, which is a rare combo in shoes. These fit the bill. The first night I had them I wore them at a gig, standing and jumping around for many hours, & my feet were a little sore by the end of the night, but since then I have worn them everywhere, and they have been comfortable, beautiful and sexy. I am so pleased with them, and with Zappos.com for carrying such cool shoes.

These 1883s are nice. I like the black threading in the shaft. The red is gorgeous. The goat leather is substantial material that will hold up to frequent wearing without losing shape. The width of the boot fits nicely to my slim to medium width foot. I generally wearing a 7.5 in Lucchese's 1883 and am not surprised that these fit just like my other boots! If you have a question about your sizing, go to your local boot store to try on- but buy from Zappos. You will get a fantastic deal from Zappos.

Wicked Red -
I really love these boots, I also have them in Mad Dog Brown, and I absolutely LOVE the red ones. But I was a little afraid from the photo that they were an orange-red as opposed to a true red. When they arrived I was thrilled, they are not an orange red at all, but a fabulous deep sports car red just like I wanted. They are quite narrow though. I have the other pair in a 9 C (wide) which for most boots would be normal. Since they don't make the reds in wide I had to send the first pair of 9s back and get a 9.5
If you're the kind of person that can pull off red cowboy boots than these are definitely for you.

This boot was comfortable right out of the box. It has classic lines, a great look, and the quality of the product is apparent. It is true to size, a perfect fit for my flat feet, and it is not too heavy to wear all day. Lucchese boots are superior to any other boot I have tried and there have been many.

These boots make me happy!
I have never spent more than $100 on a pair of shoes or boots because I never saw a reason to and always found things on sale. These boots are my reason. They are absolutely fabulous. Every girl should have a pair of red cowboy boots and I can't imagine a better pair. They are comfortable. I ordered my true size and they fit great.

Which is a Texas expression for unbelievable, fabulous, what-a-fit, what-a-color, what-a-boot! Gorgeous boots...couldn't be happier. Love that narrow fit, for my narrow feet. I wear a 10 in most shoes, the 9.5 works perfectly for me in this boot. Zappos, as usual - great service.

Red Beauties!
Lucchese does it again. These are amazingly comfortable and beautiful boots. I now have about ten pairs of Lucchese boots and in every instance they are much more beautiful in person and on my foot than in the picture. Additionally, the excellent arch support makes these boots truly comfortable. I am a B width and they are usually snug when I first put them on but within a few hours they mould to my foot and feel fabulous. I literally can walk miles in these boots. And Zappos is the best!!

A great investment in comfort!!
This is my Seventh pair of Lucchese 1883 boots (one pair for each day of the week.) These boots are amazing... I have worn them for 8 hours straight and they feel like a second skin. Think of the word "comfort" and multiply it by 100! The boots feel as if they were handmade to my last. I'm a 10B but friends with size 6 feet tell me that the feeling is the same. You can walk, ride, or dance all day in these boots and the color is beautiful-- Chanel lipstick red. This is real investment dressing because the boots are really well made and will last for twenty years or more if conditioned properly.

These (red) boots are made for walkin'
I was hesitant in buying red western boots, but once I received my first pair of Lucchese boots a month ago, I thought I'd give these red ones a try. Good decision! They fit well. Again, Lucchese boots are a little narrower than most and fit my foot well. If you have a medium to wide foot, Luccheses may not be for you. The instep on these is a little tight as well, but still fit me fine (I have somewhat of a high instep so that many brands of boots don't fit). They're real beauties! Zappos has done it again! I'm very happy.

Made for walking-
I bought these fabulous boots to reward myself for completing a two-year book project and they arrived the next day- absolutely amazing service. I get lots of compliments when I wear them. They look great with jeans or skirts. I have very narrow feet and they fit just fine. No need to break them in. You can wear them for hours right away.

These boots are unbelievable...the way they are made...the way they feel and fit and the way they look. It feels as though they were made specifically for my foot which would be no easy "feet". They feel like a $600 boot. Thank you! And they were a present from a happy real estate client... so she was able to buy just fine directly from the catalog....

Very Pleased!
I am not an internet buyer. I had wanted red boots to go with a particular suit. My choice was influenced by your reviews. The boots came very well made and more importantly extremely comfortable. The first time I wore them I was on my feet for 4 hours. Most shoes are not as comfortable as these were. I ordered my regular size and they were perfect. I will probably order another in a different color in the future.

Gorgeous, elegant and playful-
These boots are absolutely HOT and elegant all at once. Fabulous with jeans or all black. I'm a true size 6 and these are a perfect fit. The arch is somewhat narrow like a shoe, so boot socks don't work until they've been worn a little. As to fit, remember these are true western boots, not shoes. Like most western boots, the heel slips slightly, which is easy to get used to because the arch holds your foot in place. Comfortable right out of the box! I hesitated, but I'm glad I took the plunge!

Hot Boots!!
These boots are great!
They make their own statement.
The workmanship on these boots is beautiful and they are comfortable. No pinching or anything. A little roomy, but nothing a good pair of socks won't fix. These are my first pair of Cowgirl boots & I love them.

A Showstopper!
That's what this boot is. The red color is just beautiful, as is the stitching. The photos don't show that there is some black accent stitching on the boot as well as the white stitching, making the designs very striking. The goat leather is very soft and molds to your feet for a fit that is just fabulous right out of the box. I have several pairs of cowboy boots and these are the most comfortable pair I have ever bought. I really deliberated over this purchase but I am so glad I took the plunge!!

Really can't say more than that! They fit great, look great and they are so soft and comfortable -- no blisters at all. It must be the goat leather. They are remarkably lightweight, too. Highly recommend these boots (duh!) .

This boot turns every head in the place -
What goes better with a pair of jeans and a black T shirt than a gorgeous red pair of boots. Mine are beautifully stitched - I have seen none of the issues listed here with the quality of the stitching. The toe and heel are a little more narrow on this style, so I would buy your true size. Another great boot by Lucchese. As always, next day shipping with Zappos!

Wonderful boot -

I have worn Dan Post red lizards for years. This year I could not find them so I chose Lucchese instead.
I love the look! They are beautiful. However, they are not as comfortable as my Dan Post. Maybe they will be eventually.
Very Important. I am an 8/12 shoe for ever. I ordered 7 1/2 boot always. Anything in a boot is too big if I order my shoe size.

black Crocs for my husband's birthday (which is TODAY). Late YESTERDAY afternoon, I realized that I wasn't going to be successful in finding his size at my local stores and decided to order a pair from you; after all, I had received awesome customer service last year when I had ordered several pairs of shoes for Christmas. Anyhow, I ordered his shoes on your web site, fully expecting to receive them (maybe) sometime early next week. So, this afternoon, I had just finished wrapping up the email receipt to give to him when, lo and behold, Mr. UPS arrives at my door with none other than a ZAPPOS BOX!!! Now that is what I call customer service! How in the world you guys delivered in less than 24 hours is beyond me, but I just have to say that you made my day, and my husband's birthday.
