The boots arrived with flawed stitching on one toe so I called and made arrangements to exchange them. As always, Zappos' customer service was outstanding and the exchange was promptly and cheerfully made. The boots themselves are incredible - they are very comfortable without the need to be broken in. My daughter liked my pair so much she got a pair for herself.

I love these boots! They are very pretty and I danced all night in them the first wear out. When you try them on and you think the heel slip might be a problem, it isn't. No blisters.

Not only did I love the boots when the arrived...but they also arrived WAY ahead of schedule. I typically wear a 7.5 or an 8. I ordered the 8's, and they are perfect!

If you are looking for cowgirl boots, look no further -
Fit like a glove. The very first time you try them on, they feel a little tight, and they are a little difficult to get on at first. But like a glove, the boots formed to my foot beautifully after a few wearings. Craftsmanship and quality are exactly what you would expect for the price - all are on the high side. If your foot is wider, I would either bump up 1/2 size, or try to obtain a non-standard width. Otherwise, they are true to size. I am an 8 in some shoes, and an 8.5 in heels, average width, and the 8.5 in the boots is perfect. If unsure, order two sizes, and send one back. The color is as pictured. Allow for the slippage in the heel, kind of like closed-back clogs should slip. They look great with anything from jeans to casual skirts and dresses. Be sure to wear a boot-cut jean, or you may not be as happy with the look. These boots are expensive, but if you are looking for cowgirl boots, they are worth the splurge. I get compliments every time I wear them, and I don't live anywhere near a ranch!

Great boot – Felt great right out of the box. No break-in required. I have problem feet and it takes me some trial and error to find shoes that do not kill my feet. These have been perfect, so far. They offer great support and any terrain feels solid under these boots.

They are really cute, but run a little big. I normally wear a 7.5, but there is a lot of room in the toe and my foot pulls out of them at the heel when I walk. Going to try to get a 7 and see if that’s better!

Zappos is Wonderful!!! I bought these boots in a 7 1/2 because the reviews said they ran a half size large. Well they didn’t for me, they run VERY true to size and Zappos was so wonderful to exchange my boots for an 8! I love my new boots, they fit wonderfully and are beautiful to look at even if I am just walking through my closet! I LOVE them and thank you Zappos!

Comfortable as soon as I put them on my feet. Beautiful quality. Timeless style. Looks great with mini skirt. The perfect neutral color and finish is rugged for casual wear. I can't wait to get a second pair of Lucchese's.

I finally got a pair of cowboy boots!!
I am from Nashville and this is my first pair of cowboy boots. My BFF got a pair of Justin boots and I fell in love with them. I debated between these and a pair of Justin boots, but I didn't want to copy her so directly, so I gave these a shot. How surprising to find out they're incredibly comfortable and easy to wear. I mean, it isn't like you're wearing slippers or something, but they're remarkably easy on the foot. And, frankly, I feel like a badass when I wear them. Like a tough girl. It's a great feeling. I read other reviews and understood I should have them in my size, but to me they still feel a tad large, so I wear thicker socks with them so my heel doesn't pull up so much as I walk. But I have quite narrow feet, so I suggest you go with the size you usually buy in other shoes.

Most comfortable cowboy boot ever!
I have actually had this pair of Lucchese boots for about a year now. I am very impressed with their comfort. I bought these after owning a pair of Justin boots and a pair of Tony Lamas. The Tony Lamas were a waste of money because they are extremely hard and uncomfortable. The Justin’s are great and well worth the money. The Lucchese are the most expensive of the three and I can really see why. They have the most flexible leather and the most padding in the footbed. They are a beautiful color as well. As far as size goes, I got a size 8 which is my regular size. They fit great! They are in no way tight or pinch at all. I totally recommend them to anyone who wears cowboy boots or plans to start.

Thought I'd check out what a real Italian boot felt like -- well, I'm hooked! I love shoes, but have wide feet (one wider than the other), as soon as I put these boots on, I knew I'd be wearing them a lot! Look and feel beautiful.

Great boots!
These boots arrived so quickly! Also they are incredibly good looking and comfortable. They seemed to be true to size. The instep is a teeny bit snug when you first put it on, but after about 5 minutes they are great and they stay that way! I bought these boots for a trip to a dude ranch and wore them riding horses everyday. They are great, comfortable, good looking, and I plan to wear them very often this fall and winter. Zappos customer service and shipping is extraordinary. Would buy these boots all over again!

Impressive boot!
This is my first Lucchese purchase, made after reading previous rave reviews. I agree, this is a very well crafted boot with great details. I am usually a 7.5, sometimes an 8. I ordered the 7.5; it fits like a glove, with thin socks or stockings. If/when I order again, I may purchase an 8, just so I can wear thick socks with them. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase.

Best of 5!
I already own 4 pair of Lucchese in other colors, but these are the prettiest yet. The sherry color has a lot of depth, but it's understated enough to wear with everything. Needless to say, they feel fantastic - even better than my Dansko which is saying a lot for someone on their feet all day. This is a great investment and I will wear them for years. Thanks Zappos for your quick service.

Love my boots...and Zappos!
These are my first pair of real cowboy boots and I love, love, love these boots. They're gorgeous, comfortable, go with everything, and will last forever! I did, however, have to reorder a half-size down. (Also, I thought they would be taller.) But with Zappos' easy, free, and FAST exchanges, I had my new pair the next day--talk about instant gratification.

I have never done a review for anything before but I just couldn't help myself this time! These boots are absolutely amazing! I am the fussiest person when it comes to apparel especially shoes--it is all about the feel to me. I want to feel something organic and earthy. Better yet, I want it to smell that way too! These boots are the real deal and the first time I bought shoes that I did not have to return. I am between and 8 and 8 1/2 but based on some of the comments about the boots running a little narrow, I went with the 8 1/2--perfect! Yes, there is a slight snug feeling across the width of the feet but if they feel this great on the first day, I am sure they will be even better in time. The look is beautiful! A little spotty/patchy in some ways but very natural and to be expected for this look. Again, these boots are the real deal...I can't wait to buy another pair! By the way, I am a chiropractor, so if they pass by me, that says something!

My first pair of Luccheses...there will be no other. How could a pair of gorgeous, sexy, refined boots fit so exquisitely on the first day? No need to even wear them in, struggle and suffer from any pain. I'm in love forever. There will be no other cowboy boot I'll ever buy...ONLY LUCCHESE. These boots run true to size. I listened to these reviews and ordered a 1/2 size smaller since many people say they run big, but they were too small. I kept a pair in my normal size and medium width. I don't feel they are too narrow. They are very soft with incredible craftsmanship. This is a good deal because they're on sale! Yay for Lucchese and Zappos! The overnight shipping was amazing. You will not regret ordering these boots.

My first pair of cowgirl boots!
I used to think of them as hicky but when I saw this pair I fell in love... For some reason my pair was Charlie 1 Horse by Lucchese Mad Dog made in Brazil, not in USA. They look exactly like Lucchese Mad Dog. All the details are there, I can't find any difference.
I am a size 7 and my boots are 7, too. I can wear them with or without socks. Forget about those wanna-be fashion "cowgirl boots". Don't even take them if they were for free. Get a real pair made by the real boot makers such as Lucchese. You will not regret it and you will enjoy a great pair of boots for years to come, much like owning a Chanel classic quilted handbag.

Perfect boot for the modern cowgirl! I bought this boot in both the tan and black. All Lucchese boots (especially this choice) are comfortable right out of the box. The leather is top quality and the snip toe is sure to stay in fashion for some time. You don't have to be from Texas to strut your stuff in these beauties! I love these boots!
I got these in 6.5 and needed a 7. They were a little snug across the top in both sizes but the 7 loosened up after I wore then for the 1st time. I am usually a 6.5 most of the time. I loved them so much that I just ordered them in black as well. These are timeless. You will were them forever!

These are beautiful boots. Great color and texture. True to size, but do require a little break in period because they are a little stiff at first. Fast shipping and Zappos is so easy to deal with.

Yet to take them off -
I thoroughly researched western boots and determined that Lucchese was the best of the best and goat skin the very softest option available. My boots arrived about a month ago and I have yet to take them off. They're gorgeous, comfortable and get compliments wherever I go. They looked good when they were new, but now look even better with a bit of scuffing. My only concern is that I might have to take them off next weekend for my best friend’s wedding. Then again...maybe not.
