I was so happy, and now I'm so disappointed. I loved these shoes when I first got them. After on a brief break-in period, they were very comfortable and quickly became my favorite work-shoes. Comfortable to stand on all day, and just stylish enough to wear with a variety of clothes. But after just 3 months the canvas on top is falling apart, and now they look awful. What a disappointment.

I ordered these in a medium and when I first squeezed my feet into them, I thought that certainly I will have to return them. I wore them around the house for about an hour, and started to notice that my feet felt good in the. What seemed like a narrow fit had the effect of pushing my arches up, which really helped with leg fatigue. I love that these have laces that don't require being tied! I would suggest if you have a slightly wider than average foot, but one where a wide shoe is too wide, go for the medium. If you wear thin socks, your normal size should be okay. I prefer thick cotton socks so I had to go up a 1/2 size.

I ordered these glasses after wearing Maui Jim for several years. I found these to be superior in many ways. The lenses provided a clearer view and they seem to be much more stylish. It was a plus that they were much cheaper in price.

Can't get them on -
I love the comfort of the Rockport Royalston shoe, after I cut away the laces in order to be able to insert my foot into the shoe. With after-market laces, the shoes are extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, I couldn't find plum-colored laces, so they are not as nice looking as before.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Most any Rockport product will be comfortable and supportive.

Good looking sport shoe -
This shoe is nice looking with casual pants or jeans. It is dresser than sneakers, but has the comfort. I have achy feet, wide feet and find most shoes uncomfortable. This shoe is a good find. It fits well and has a soft inner padding.
