Great boots, quick warning though! I had to reorder these shoes twice (Zappos made it painless, but this was still annoying) because the sizing is way off. I don't know what they were thinking at KC, but this isn't right at all. I have been a 10.5 for at least the past 5 years or so, but the 10.5s were huge on me. So I tried the 10s, still too big. Finally the 9.5s fit. A whole size down seems a bit ridiculous, but they sure look good. Another thing seems to be that they are in desperate need of arch support, so I'd recommend picking up an insert. That being said, I wouldn't have gone through the trouble if I didn't think they were worth it. Great looking boots, at a great price and they feel like they were built pretty well. Also, Zappos made everything easy as pie.

I bought these boots for summer riding. They have a classic look and seemed to fit right in with the retro Triumph vibe. Right out of the box, the leather was stiff, so I wore them to work for a couple of days to break them in. On the second day, the leather veneer strip on the right heel started to unwrap itself, and I had to pull it off completely to avoid tripping. This was before I wore it to ride the bike. The left heel went through the same drill a week later. The difference without the veneer strip is not noticeable at all, and it did not compromise the structure of the boot itself; however, there are also other elements that reflect less than top quality. The type of leather used seems subpar, and I suspect it will show early signs of distress. That can be good if you want a vintage look, or it can be awful if it starts to show like cheap shredded vinyl. The sole shows nicks and notches along the edge. It zips on the back along the Achilles tendon, which will subject the zipper to a lot of bending and stretching and possibly shorten its lifespan. However, it\\\'s a cool-looking pair of boots that\\\'s fairly comfortable. Johnny (The Wild One) would have loved to wear a pair of these.

Wanted this to work but it didn't -
I had seen this boot in black and really liked it. I didn't care for it as much in brown. However, I have a high instep and this boot did not work for me in that category. The rear zipper closing also posed a potential problem it seems. I really would like to have this in black even if it is not the best fit for me.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Not sure, but have had better luck with Florsheims.

My Kenneth Cole Boots -
I love the boots. I live in Cleveland, Ohio so I always seem to generate a reaction when I wear these boots. They are not difficult to put on or take off. Only thing I don't like about the boot is that movement is somewhat restricted at the ankle make long periods of walk uncomfortable, but overall I'm satisfied.
