Great everyday boot!
This is a great riding boot that I can wear while walking around the city, to work or just running errands. Its sleek profile looks great with jeans tucked in or with dresses. The leather is so soft and never required any breaking in. They're very comfortable (even after wearing all day) and durable.

A worthy splurge -
I bought these shoes in the Cognac Vintage color. They are beautiful, the leather is soft and buttery. The inside is also made of soft leather, and it feels like I'm walking on pillows. However, these shoes get very slippery when wet. Also, they felt rather tight the first two times I wore them, I needed to unzip them for a few minutes to let my feet breathe. They fit like a sock after breaking them in a little. Overall, definitely the best pair of boots I've ever bought.

The Boot Equivalent to "The Little Black Dress"
Yummy yummy black leather in an understated and classy boot. At first they were hard to get zipped (and I don't have especially big calves), but the suppleness of the leather made them more flexible the next time I tried. I don't think I'll ever be able to wear heavy sox or get jeans tucked into them but that isn't what I was looking for. Also, I am still a little leery about the material on the sole - it seems awfully smooth to get much traction on ice (a condition I haven't had to test yet). But for a great looking dress boot they fit the bill very well. Even my husband loved them. And it goes without saying that I LOVE ZAPPOS and their awesome service.

Fashion and comfort!!
I love these boots. I got so many compliments on them, even from men. I usually wear 8 1/2 or 9 mostly a 9 but I ordered these in 8 1/2 and at first I thought I was going to exchange them but after wearing them around the house the fit seemed good. They are worth the money bc of the real lather and inside is great material.

Every order I have placed with Zappos has been a good experience. Many times you upgrade the shipping on your own and I have the item overnight (as occurred with an order I placed yesterday - the item is out for delivery already!) I am in business and know that that is not something you have to do; so I just wanted to say thank you. It's little things like that that make a good service a great service.
