Shoe is perfect height, not too flat and not too high. Stretch top is VERY comfortable from very first wearing. Looks very flattering on the foot, feminine and dressy, but still casual. Purchased in black, the black, stretchy material camouflages a beginning bunion/protrusion of the bone in large toe area. Wearing this style you would never know there is a problem. Platform sole also helps with another problem and that is pain in the "ball" of the foot. When wearing these darling shoes, there is little to no pain. Because the shoe was so great, I purchased this shoe in beige, but had to return it because that color did not camouflage the "bunion" problem, rather the light color seemed to "highlight" and draw attention to the problem.

Slippin 'n Sliding Away -
I liked the look and feel of this lovely shoe by David Charles. It was, however, very slippery both in the insole and on the bottom. The flap-flap noise as I walked was annoying.

These have been great. Made in Italy so I'm a true 7 1/2 (38). Comfort is nice, good added height and dressier alternative to my Reef flip flops. The stretchy material doesn't hurt top of foot. Great find! Charles David is BACK!
