Skyscraper tall, but super cute! I work in an office, the usual hours. I wear 2 inch and 3 inch heels on a regular basis, even when I go out with friends. I am in my 30s, and dance frequently. I wear a 7.5, or 8. So these shoes work for me on several levels. Straps keep my feet in for dancing, pattern goes well with work clothes (I bought in brown) and adorable vintage look keeps my curvy-yet-fit figure looking sharp. But. They are a bit TOO tall for me. 4 inches is a tough size to get used to. I do love them, and am keeping them, but I call them my "6 hour" shoes, rather than 8.

Pretty, but painful! These Mary Janes are absolutely gorgeous! I love the plaid, double strap, and wingtip details. They are to die for! They're playful, sexy, and elegant all at the same time. The only problem is, they're rough on the feet. My feet feel arched unnaturally high and there's absolutely no padding in the insole...or at least it doesn't feel like it. When I'm walking on concrete, I KNOW I'm walking on concrete, you know what I mean? Also, they pinch the toes and I don't even have wide feet! I'm a 5 1/2 to 6 and the 6 felt a tiny bit too small, although I have the feeling that going up a half size would be too big for me. They're more like a quarter size too small. They're so pretty, however, so I think I'll keep them anyway. Beauty is a real pain!
