So far this shoe has been great. I use it mainly as a day hiking shoe with a light pack. From the start the shoe was extremely comfortable and well padded with only a short break in period needed. The laces are exorbitantly long, but I just tuck them into the shoe and don't worry about it from there. The tongue is very thick and provides a lot of comfort, and that along with the laces down to the toe allow the shoe to hold my foot very well even on steep downhill sections. The grip on the shoe is great even over loose rock up or downhill. I have only used the shoe on a half dozen hikes between 5 and 20 miles so I can't yet speak to the longevity of the shoe, but it has been an excellent purchase so far.

 |  | I just wanted you to know that Zappos.com "wowed" me recently. I have been looking to improve the customer experience in my company for years, but until recently haven't
taken the necessary steps to make it happen. In the last month I have contacted many well known customer service businesses to foster ideas on how to better care for our customers, and ZAPPOS.com has risen to the top for me. You not only sent me some of your 2008 Culture books, but you didn't charge me a cent, and I made sure that I presented this fact to the team at our daily morning huddle. I was also most impressed that Tony signed the book(s)!!! Wow. I want our company to be known as following ZAPPOS.com's lead, and be better at caring for the whole individual as we care for their health needs.
