I love my Betty boots! I live in Houston which is usually pretty warm but it does rain quite a bit during the winter. I\'ve used this boot while walking the dog as well as daily errands and so far my feet have stayed warm and dry. I didn\'t need any break-in time at all. No blisters or sore feet. I normally wear a size 7 but ordered a 7.5. These boots fit fine with both thin and thick socks.

Order a far larger size than your usual! This boot provides great traction, is wonderfully warm, comfy, and waterproof, but it really runs super small. Ultimately, I needed a whole size larger than usual. If you need a practical, secure winter boot that will keep your feet warm and genuinely dry, and that you can walk in all day if need be, and that comes in a great choice of colors, this is the boot, but order big.

Great boot! Sadly I need to be able to tuck my pants into my boots to keep them out of the snow and I cannot do that with these boots. The ankle is too fitted to my calf. But if you don't need that, then get these! They are super cute, the ankle has great support, they're flexible, not bulky and have a great thick tread. I went one full size up from my street shoe.

I can't believe how easy the order/return process is with Zappos! I ordered two different pair of winter boots because I couldn't decide which would work better. I liked the Keen Betty Boot because it was lighter than the other. While I haven't worn my boots yet, they seem like they will be perfect. Light enough to walk comfortably in and sturdy enough to play in the snow. I was having a hard time finding a boot that could do both. I sent back the other pair of boots and was promptly refunded. No problems, no hassle. Awesome!

After looking at hundreds of boots, I finally decided to look at the Keen selection (I wear a lot of Keen shoes, the most comfortable ever). I love the Keen Betty, it is comfortable, styish, and I love the color combinations. I am basing my new winter coat and scarf around the boots!

I bought these for dog-walking in snow and for a comfortable boot for walking back and forth to work. I bought them in a size 9, typically wearing an 8.5 to 9, and they fit fine. It hasn\'t been cold or snowy yet to warrant wearing them outside, but they are comfortable based on just wearing them a bit around the house.

While not exactly stylish, these boots are warm, durable, comfortable, and supportive. I usually wear a 7.5, but got an 8 and found that sizing up was best so I could wear a heavy pair of socks.

I rarely order shoes online because I am very difficult to fit and it is a lot of trouble to return them. I took a chance ordering the Keen Betty boots and from the first day I put them on, they are the most comfortable boots I have ever had. The inside lining is so soft. The ankle and foot support are terrific. I look for reasons to wear them even if it is not cold.

I love my new Keens Betty Boots! They hug and support my feet very comfortably and are very warm against the elements. I highly recommend these boots for snow and rainy weather. I find that ordering a 1/2 size smaller than usual was a better fit.

Very warm boots! They have a slightly high heel; I feel tall wearing them. Good arch support, slightly smaller than size listed, but I may just be an 8 and a quarter rather than an eight. Comfortable, I feel like they are built to last and worth the money. Also have really good treads.

I needed a pair of solid winter boots that were going to keep me warm and safe, but I wasn\'t on the market for something serious like Baffins or something fashionable but less practical like Uggs. I bought an ice blue coat from North Face last year and and Slate Black/Grayed Jade boot ended up being a decent match. First, there\'s nothing black about this boot. It\'s more of a brown. There\'s also nothing gray about the jade. It\'s more like a light sea foam colour. Nonetheless, the colour combination is quite pleasing. I\'m normally between 6 to 6.5 in Keens and bought these in a 6.5 and they fit perfectly, so I think I would err on the larger size. I\'m moderately concerned that they slip off my heel a little bit when I walk but I don\'t think it\'s so severe that a thick pair of socks can\'t fix it. They make my feet look big, of course, but overall, I think they\'re quite cute for what they are....clunky winter boots.

Love the Betty! This is one great boot! I live in Boulder, CO and we don't know if one day snow, the other sun, so I wanted a boot that wasn't too heavy. Normally wear a 9, bought a 9.5 and it works with medium weight socks. Stylish!

I wish I would have listened to other reviewers who complained about their heel slipping, just wearing this boot around my house my socks slipped down around my ankles and bunched up at my foot. I wear a 7 and ordered a 7 1/2 and they still felt tight. I am sending them back.

Comfy, stylish and durable; love these boots! They truly are comfortable and a bit of style to an otherwise boring genre of shoes. I would say that the "scarlet" color is a bit more of a berry color than I would have expected.

Great boot; "heel lift" issues though. Keen is an excellent brand, but this style seems to just barely miss its mark unfortunately. These are so very comfortable, with or without socks, and they are quite warm. However, having tried several sizes, what did not change or improve was the "heel slide or lift", and I do not have a narrow foot or narrow heel. If anything my foot is pretty average aside from from just being so honkin' big. But as I walked, my foot moved easily upward, not good. Anyway, I recommend the boot for those with wide heels, I just forewarn that these would not be good for walking more than short distances and definitely not for any rough winter terrain lest you pull your foot right out!

The boot looks way cooler in person and fits great. No trouble getting on and off. I can't wait to wear these in the Chicago winter. Lightweight and easy to walk in. True to size.

I have several pairs of Keen shoes and love all of them. I had to order a half size larger because I have a high instep and the instep on the boot was cut lower than on my shoes.

Two of us have these boots. I bought mine first and they are perfect for me. I have tough to fit feet. These fit me and keep me warm. I can walk my dogs while wearing these. They are not good for ice but you can add the clamp on cleats for ice. I live near Chicago and we have plenty of bad, snowy weather. Love the Betty

Perfect Snow Bunny boot!
I love this boot! It was comfortable the minute I put it on, no break in needed. I found it true to size. Looked cute with ski pants and jeans. AND it kept my feet completely warm and dry for hours in the snow. I will definitely order more Keen boots! And as always, Zappos shipped quickly.

Very happy with this boot!
The only reason I didn't rate this boot a 5 is because I wish there had been different color options. I had previously ordered a Columbia Bugazip, which I liked the look of much better, but I couldn't even get my foot in it. I decided to try the Keen and and it went on easily and was comfortable once I had it on.

This is a great, comfortable boot -- similar in fit and support to the Targhee. The sole/foot bed gives great traction. My daughter has received many compliments for the pair I got her in the slate gray/jade (really brown/light aqua) color.

Great boot! Runs small.
This is a great boot. Kept me warm in the snow and even good for snowshoeing. I had read other reviews that said the boot ran large, but I found that it actually ran small. (I ended up buying a half size larger but you could even go a full size larger.)

My perfect boot -
I was looking for a good walking boot (as I walk to work every day in Boston) that would have good traction, be warm, comfortable, keep my feet (and jeans) dry, and have a casual, funky, cute aesthetic.
This boot fit all those requirements and was beyond comfortable!
My only comment is that for the "Slate Black/Grayed Jade" color, the accent stripe is a bit more of a sea foam green color (I thought it would be more blue? Maybe I need my eyes checked). But I love the real color combo too, so a minor complaint.

A really "Keen" boot -
I already own three other pairs of Keen shoes and when I needed some new winter boots I was gratified to find this pair. As usual, they were comfortable right out of the box! We are having a very cold and snowy winter this year in Michigan and these boots have not let me down. I do get about a half size larger than I normally wear in all Keen styles and that makes for a perfect fit for me. And I received them in typical speedy Zappos fashion...you do a wonderful job!!
