Very cool, with two drawbacks -
I have about 10 pairs of JV converse, so I'd say I'm a bit of an expert :) I saw these and knew I must have them. I have two gripes however. 1) These are very low profile, meaning there is less vertical space for your foot/toes than most JV converse. I'm a size 13, and in order for them to fit comfortably I had to take out the insole and replace it with a thinner version from the drug store. 2) The silver rubs off a bit. If you give it a firm rub with your finger, you'll have some silver pain on your finger. I've only worn them a few times so far, so can't say how the color will last after months of use...

Don't buy -
Not a good buy. The staining had faded after just 3 wears!!! Soles are coming up also! A lot of visible wear and tear, quality is poor.
