Not for wide feet -
These boots are GORGEOUS - the leather is buttery and beautiful - I wanted to eat them! But, soooo very uncomfortable on my feet. My feet are wide - I tried both 6.5 and 7. I was yelping at how painful they were. These are probably the narrowest boots I've ever tried on. Am so sad to have to return them.

Not wide enough for calf -
I have a true wide calf, but REALLY want a true knee high boot. All the wide calf boots available on Zappos are under 17" and lower quality leather. I hoped that perhaps the calf width would increase with foot size, as done with some brands like RSVP. Sadly this wasn't the case. They are all the same calf width. The toe is very pointy and foot bed is a little narrower than other brands. I loved the raisin brown and quality of leather.

Cute boots for skirts (pretty awful with pants). The toe box is a little more elongated than I like, but not obnoxiously so. Because they run a little large, I have to wear socks so they don't rub blisters on my feet, but they are OK with socks.

Nice with skirts -
I just bought these and love them. The fit and quality is great. For me - I have narrow calves - because of the shape of the top, they don't work with jeans, especially narrow legs.

A Great Find -
I love these boots! Just enough trim to look good but not overdone. In fact, if the trim had been in silver, I would have ordered the black as well as the brown. The leather is lovely and they were comfortable the minute the put them on. And of course the Zappos service is phenomenal.

We were going to Disney World and needed some shoes for my wife’s niece. None of the stores around here had a style in the right color to please an 11 year old so I turned to Zappos since I knew they had it all. Of course I waited till the last minute and the shoes were a little small. This was one week before we were to leave. I sent them back for free asking for a store credit. I could have paid the extra money to get them there the next day but the crowbar broke while trying to open my wallet. Our flight was on Thursday. On Monday the credit had not been posted so I bought another pair and crossed my fingers they would make it on time. They were at my front door 23 hours later. Talk about lightning fast, I'm still trying to figure out how they did it. GREAT JOB! Zappos really came through and believe me I'm going to tell everyone that will listen how fantastic they are.
