Loved them until...maybe I wore them too much, but they completely fell apart in less than 1 year. Small holes appeared through wear & tear & just expanded until my feet were just completely exposed. Until then, the best slipper I ever owned. The bottom never gave out & is still intact. I'll replace them with the exact same pair & be more tender with them this time.

I loved these slippers so much that I just bought a similar pair for my nine-year-old and my husband. I was showing them off to a friend to recommend them when I discovered a hole where my pinky toe is in one of them. To my dismay, I found FOUR more holes -- not just from my toes but also from the sides of my feet. I really would love to recommend this product because they are warm without being sweaty, quiet, and soft. But I haven't had them for even a month and don't wear them heavily.

I'd have to agree with the reviewer that talked about this slipper falling apart. I have not had these slippers for very long either and the felt is disintegrating. I've been a longtime supporter of the company and what it is trying to do for the environment. The slipper is cute and comfortable, but this is way too much money to spend on something that falls apart in a few months.

Failing felt -
I'm very sad to report that I've had these slippers only 3 months and they are falling apart: the felt lining is wearing away at the heel and more importantly a hole has formed on the sides where my pinky toe rubs. I don't have unusually shaped feet, and I've never had this problem with any shoes before. It's great that Simple makes an ecologically friendly product but it's not really working if the shoes only last 3 months and have to be replaced!

Cozy and reduce your carbon footprint -
These are very comfy and I love the looks of the shoes. I like that they try to be environmentally conscious about the materials they use. (They could go further and get rid of the plastic hanger that must be intended for store displays; it might be recycled, but still...) Tiny bit of arch support so I'm choosing "moderate," but it's a bit less.

Very comfy and light weight, hardly know you are wearing them. They look cool and keep you warm.

Excellent House Slipper -
I am very pleased with the Simple Underlay & own both colors. They are comfortable, but I did need to size down half a size. The lining is soft throughout. The bottom sole is rubberized and thin; I am not sure how this will hold up over the long term and this is not a sole I would wear outside the home for that reason. Conservative look; I rated 4 stars because I would prefer that the accent color had more presence.

Great gift -
I bought these slippers for my sister and she absolutely loves them. She usually wears an 8, but that was a little snug so I had to go up to a 9 for her.

 |  | I have told friends and family about Zappos and it was just because the service has been wonderful. As a 63 year old, I recall the super service given in the old department stores. I mourned the loss of that quality service as stores cut back, closed, went mall, outlet, superstore, online.
