I tried this shoe on in a department store and the person helping never came back out with another size. So I left and looked for the shoe online. That's how I found Zappos, who sent me 2 pair in different sizes. I sent the larger one back at no fee, and Zappos immediately reimbursed my credit card. Great service with no issue! The shoe is quite comfortable and looks stylish with slacks.

Narrow! They're comfortable, alright, if you have very narrow feet. The shoe looks great, it is very light, but it's very narrow. I ordered some softspots shoes in narrow size, so I assumed I'd be fine with these in regular, but I'm afraid I am returning them. There's no arch support also.

This shoe looks very nice with work/dress slacks. Fits wonderfully with a narrow foot like Seibels do. Wish there was more support/padding, especially in the front part of the shoe. I bought both a brown and black pair for work.

I'm a huge fan of Josef Seibel shoes. They are so comfortable that they are all I wear for work. But they don't look like a clunky "comfort shoe." My only issue with this specific pair is that they are hard to polish because of the contrasting seam stitching. But very comfortable right out of the box and look fabulous on your feet.

It looks great, but...
This is a really good-looking shoe. Its narrow-looking front and hidden laces give it a classy touch. The toe area is roomy and there is no stiffness in the back of the heel to cause irritation. Unfortunately, there is zero arch support and a disappointing lack of padding under the ball of the foot. I finally resorted to tearing out the foot beds and putting in some from other shoes (into which I put orthotics). They could have earned 5 stars for comfort if the designer had first tested it out on human feet.

Cute casual shoe. I find I'm usually wearing them on casual Friday's. Overall the shoe is comfortable with the exception of the top area near the tie. This area cuts into my foot and becomes uncomfortable after about 5 hours. But, the shoe is cute!

Classy comfort for work -
I really like this shoe for a semi-casual work environment. It looks professional and is comfortable without being frumpy - nice little heel for slacks.

I have worn nothing but Birkenstocks for over 15 years, and I am learning to wear real shoes again!
These look great with slacks. I can wear them for about 5-6 hours before I have to take them off, but remember, I have not worn a close toed shoe for years!

My new favorite shoes!!
These are excellent shoes. They are so comfortable for walking long distances or for standing long periods of time. They have a beautiful sleek look which is very slimming to the foot. The heel is the perfect height for me. This shoe is a total home run.

Nice, dressier comfort shoe -
When I first received this shoe, I was concerned that it would be too narrow in the toe box, but that did not turn out to be the case. The shoe has been very comfortable. I like the narrower look, a bit dressier than my other Josef Seibel shoes. I would prefer a toggle closure to the laces (the laces have become undone a couple of times). The toggle closure is the best, but no Josef Seibels have any that I can find right now. Overall, I am very satisified with the shoes. I can wear these for about 8 hours walking, whereas I have been able to wear my other Josef Seibels about 12 hours.

I had a hip replacement and my leg is now 1 1/2 in. shorter then the other leg. I cannot wear leather shoes so I chose Keds and took them to a shoe repair shop to see if he could build up the sole. He said yes and he did such a good job and I now have a pair in most colors to go with all things. They are so comfortable on my feet and I have really bad feet. I highly recommend them.

Very comfortable shoes!
I knew I would love these shoes because they are Josef Seibel. The day these shoes arrive you can wear for eight hours with no blisters. I wear with jeans and regular work pants. They tend to slightly feel larger than size because they are European sized. Still I wear with socks so they are perfect. If you put a foot pad in the bottom if they’re too big, you feel you are walking in heaven. As always Zappos service is top notch!!! I got the shoes the very next day!!!

As always, a great fit from day one! Comfortable, stylish and simple. I really like this shoe. The only modification I had to make was to buy a pad for the ball of my foot because that part of the shoe felt much thinner than the other pairs of Josefs I've owned. Since moving to NY almost 5 years ago, I've learned you can't wear shoes that sort of fit - instant comfort is important because you're walking everywhere. It's worth the extra bucks for Josefs!

Great shoes for work: look great with nice pants. Sort of a sexy librarian shoe. The stacked heel is very comfortable and gives a lift. I added a gel arch support which helped there.
