I selected these boots because I walk my dog twice a day, every day, no matter what the weather. I need a boot that keeps my feet dry and warm, even when there is heavy rain or slushy snow. I chose Zappos because I could order these shoes and, if I didn't like the feel, I could return them. Also, with Zappos, I could select just the right size based upon the European size, which has proven to be a better indicator for me. In addition, there is a detailed description of the boot's features, which really helped me in my decision making. When my boots arrived, I tried them on. They fit perfectly. Now I wear them during our celebrated rainy season up here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Best Boot I ever owned!
Fit is true to size and are very warm, and look good on! Had a pair of Bugabootoos that split on the toe-these are a better boot!

Great snow boot -
I wore these boots for a trip to the mountains, and they were great. We spent hours tubing, and my feet never even got a hint of cold. They were very comfortable. They are just a tad bulky, hence the 4 stars, but for being out in lots of snow and cold, they were perfect!

My Bugaboots are very well made with extremely safe lug soles which make my long walks safer on our icy snowy roads this winter. I could have worn a size smaller as they seemed to be generously sized which does make them slip. Overall I`m pleased as they are sturdy and comfortable.

Winter boots -
These boots are really warm. I wore them hiking with a little snow on the ground. They seem to run a little big, as I wear 5-1/2 to 6 in a shoe and my 6s in the boot are a little too roomy.

Too big to drive in -
This boot felt great walking around on our carpets inside. After deciding to cut the tags and wear them, they soon felt a half size too big. Now I wear a mens sock when I wear them to make up the difference. They also have left marks around my lower calf, red and sore for two weeks now, despite the heavy socks, and wearing them for an hour and a half, total, split between two dog walks, a day. And for anyone who drives a stick shift, get ready to hit the gas and brakes at the same time with one fell swoop of your foot, and be unable to smoothly operate your clutch. Needless to say, I have already ordered another pair of boots here after owning these for maybe three weeks. For walking out in blizzards, not for driving your car in! And I doubt that Yak Trax will fit over the HUGE molded sole of the boot, so no walking on ice with your 85 LB dog on a lead. I wasted $100 on shoes to shovel the driveway in.

Bugaboot -
I received these, they were comfy and kept my feet warm. They were a little larger than I expected, and are a serious winter boot. The "winter boot" look, like Sorrel's and the large appearance is why I gave it a 4 appearance, otherwise they seem great.

Perfect outdoor activity boot for winter!
I needed a boot that could go from deep snow to mud pits to some trail hiking in the snow/rain/northwest foothills. This did it all and my feet stayed dry and warm (I have cold feet most of the time) I got a pair of Sorels and these, but when it came down to which to choose for the real activities, I chose these due to the soles. I took the Sorels back to the store. I'm so glad I did!!! I had to slip them on and off going indoors from out a lot and could keep them loosely tied to slip on and off quickly but it still kept out the cold and wet. I then took them on a 4 mile hike into the foothills while raining and made it up the trails with quite slick icy patches better than those without the great soles, but not as good as those with ice traction add ons. My feet were warm and dry the whole time. I got a bigger size and really didn't need them, but am able to put in my superfeet insole under the boot insole and it retains the warmth beautifully. Just need to take them out to dry when I'm done hiking.

Snow & Ice? No Problem!
This is a terrific "Bugaboot!" The Seattle area had an unusually snowy, windy, icy December, but I was very confident that I wouldn't slip & slide wearing these boots. They're comfortable, warm, & good looking in a rugged, "mountain woman" kind of way! I highly recommend this boot! And Zappos' service couldn't be better!

More like a hiking boot than an everyday winter boot -
These boots will definitely keep you warm, but they are heavy and more "overbuilt" than I needed for braving the Chicago winter. It seems more like a hiking boot than an everyday snow/winter boot. Also, the heel is a little higher than I like in an outside book. The brown color is more muted in person.

Awesome boots -
I ordered these because I was in desperate need of some winter boots, mainly to run around in the snow with with my dog, but also for just going outside after a snowstorm...LOVE THEM! I looked at a lot of boots before finally settling on these, and I am SO happy with them. They fit great...I did have to order them in a half-size larger than I usually take, but I am so glad because they fit perfectly, feel so secure on your feet and keep them nice and toasty! I just wear a pair of regular socks with them and my feet are dry and warm and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great boots!
Boots fit great and are SUPER warm. Can't walk too long in them on a hard surface though or feet get sore but can go forever on soft snow.

This shoe is very pretty. Looks great with pants and skirts and is so comfortable. I'm buying a pair for my sister's birthday because she is always commenting on how much she loves mine! They are definitely worth the price. A very high-quality, fashionable shoe.

Good overall boot -
I live in North Dakota so I was looking for a high quality warm boot as our winters are very long and cold here. I really like the look of these boots; I wear them out to run errands all the time. The neck of them is a little stiff, but I'm sure that will break in. The laces are a little short, that's prob. my only complaint. They are a good boot to run around in but probably not to be out in very cold weather for a long period of time.

Love these boots!
These boots are well worth the money and will hopefully last me a long time. Prior to this pair, I was wearing two pairs of socks and regular hiking boots and my toes were still freezing. With these boots, I only have to wear one pair of socks and my feet are as warm (and dry) as can be!

Very Warm boot - Keeps Your Feet Dry!
Living in Chicago I need boots to keep my feet warm and dry, and the Columbia Bugaboot Omni-Tech does the job. Recently we had minus zero degree weather and my feet remained warm as I had to walk a bit.

These shoes are PHENOMENAL! They may not look good for a party, but are extremely comfortable, super warm and perfect for the snow! They are waterproof, sturdy and you can wear them for hours!

Bugga Boot -
This boot was totally wonderful -I loved being able to get my small size (no one in the stores hardly carry them), they were free shipping (which is amazing) and if they didn't work I could send them back for free - (Awesome!) I couldn't have asked for more and I definitely will do my shopping on line with Zappos for now on. I moved from Louisville (which had a Zappos) to Minnesota and was so excited to get the deal that I got since with the multiple inches of snow - I needed boots.

It looks good and is really warm. What more could you want? I got a half size larger to make sure there was room for a warm sock. It was just right.

 |  | I can't thank you enough! I have always had a difficult time finding comfortable shoes because I have a very narrow foot. I now have a medical foot issue that has progressed to the point of needing to replace nearly all of my shoes with relatively flat, well-made (translation: expensive) shoes to enable me just to walk without excessive pain. Needless to say, it is difficult to know immediately if a given shoe will both fit my narrow foot and not cause a great deal of pain after an hour of wear. Your free-return policy has been a true blessing to me. It is not easy to spend $170.00 on a pair of shoes that may hurt my feet after an hour and be unwearable if those shoes cannot be returned easily. The specialty shoe store in my area is great, but they offer a limited selection and any special orders can only be returned with a 15% restocking fee. Other online shoe stores require me to pay the return shipping fee and cannot begin to match the customer service that you provide. This can get costly and time consuming when one has the type of issues I have and needs to replace an entire wardrobe of shoes with well-built shoes. I have to say, even if I did not have foot issues, Zappos would be my shoe store for the selection and great customer service alone. Additionally, you offer such quick shipping, the best customer service I have found in as long as I can remember and great selection. I am incredibly happy that I was told about Zappos. You have simplified this part of my life, and believe me, with my foot pain, that is a very large part of my life. I have written other thank you notes to Zappos as well, but I wanted to send a special note of thanks for the quick shipping. I will continue to rave about Zappos to friends and family!
