I purchased this shoe for my 5 year old granddaughter. It really is a very nice shoe and it can be worn with dresses or with jeans. She loves them and tells us they feel good on her feet! I was a little hesitant about ordering off the internet, but they fit perfect. I love Zappos free shipping and returns.

I bought these based on previous reviews during back-to-school days. #1 quality-made product that is #1 comfortable per my Kindergartner. These're the best substitute to the ugly school uniform shoes while lasting much longer with no-tear look day in and day out in the rough playgrounds. My kid prefers these over the sneakers in comfort! That says a lot. Great value too if you comparison shop elsewhere; you can't find this top quality shoes at this price.

I bought these for my 8 year old daughter to go with her school uniform. She loves them because they are comfortable, don\'t slip off, and the rubber soles let her run around on the playground as if they were sneakers. Great find!

I bought these for my daughters in sizes 13 and 5 and they are great looking in the smaller sizes as well as the big kid sizes. Both my girls love them. They're really comfortable like a sneaker or running shoe, but truly look great with skirts, dresses, or any outfit. They're great school shoes, are flattering on their feet, and easy to clean. They have much more arch support than some of the knock offs of this style. The shoes seems true to size. I've purchased many Merrells for kids and adults over the years and I can't think of a single pair that has been anything less than excellent.

These shoes were great for my second grader. She can wear them with anything and even wear them on PE days. She loves that they look cute, but have a good gripping sole and are comfortable. \r\n\r\nWe definitely recommend these for those who want to be active and cute.

Loved the shoes! Love Zappos! I bought these Merrell shoes for my four year old granddaughter who is so rough on shoes. I know that Merrell's will hold up to her active life on the playground. The one thing I didn't know what how cute they would be on her! She absolutely loved them and now we can't get them off of her. Shopping with Zappo's is ALWAYS a good experience. I never have any problems when I shop with Zappo's and I do that very frequently.

I purchased these for my daughter for school since she wears a uniform and had to have brown or black shoes. The first pair was too small; the next pair arrived the NEXT DAY, amazing. So far, she loves them, they seem slightly on the large side now, but I am sure they will fit perfectly in a few months.

I love these shoes. They are a great school shoe, as others have pointed out, because they are cute enough for skirts, but the functional equivalent of a sneaker. I love that the sole of the shoe comes up over the big toe; it prevents the scuffing that little ones cannot avoid. My daughter's pair from last year looks good as new, which I cannot say about any of her other shoes!

Great school shoe for the active girl -
My daughter has found this shoe to be very comfortable and versatile. It looks great with her school uniform, but functions excellently during gym and after school activities such as jump rope, dance and (indoor) soccer. We trust the Merrell name and have been very pleased. Her foot is a bit wide and this shoe looks and feels great.

Excellent shoe. My daughter is six and has extremely flat feet. No arch at all. I happened upon a Merrell sneaker for her about a year ago and now all I buy are Merrells for her. They have a great arch and she does not pronate (feet roll in) at all in these. They are also attractive, which is nice since she is not able to wear other cute children's shoes due to the support they provide. She never twists her ankles in these. Sooooo satisfied. First two pairs I bought from Zappos were too small. The return was free and simple. We ordered two in a larger size and they fit perfect. Thanks Zappos!
