Most comfortable pair of shoes I have bought. I work on my feet 12-15 hours per day and never really sit down. These shoes are soft, have a cushiony sole, and provide a lot of support. I highly recommend them. Was thinking about buying a second pair in brown.

This would be a great shoe if it weren't for the clicking noise that developed quickly around the ball of the foot. I can't figure out what causes it but it drives me crazy. Other than that it is a comfy shoe and I wear it 5 days a week to work. Have to double knot the laces because they come loose often otherwise. Personally wouldn't buy again solely for the clicking noise but it's a quality shoe otherwise. Stiff at first but breaks in very nicely in a day or two. I've had these shoes for a few months now.

These shoes were okay when first purchased, had adequate arch support and width. The quality of materials has been disappointing and the soles have developed a strange internal “snapping” noise when pushing off the toe. After taking out the insoles to look for uneven insertion or other issues that might cause this noise, none are apparent, but the insole has begun to split and separate at the glued sections, in only 2 months of wear, ~3 days/week. The laces constantly come untied, probably due to their material (a smooth nylon), and the soles feel somewhat hot when walking - they do not absorb shock as well as other solid rubber soles I have purchased. The uppers are satisfactory quality, though stitching to the sole is of middling quality. Arch support is moderate. I would recommend Keen casual footwear highly over these Rockports.

Higher Quality Rockport Shoe -
This costs more then the typical Rockport shoe, but you notice the difference between these Rockports and less expensive Rockports right away. This shoe is solidily constructed. Has good tread, nice removable insole, and non-paper footbed. The shoe is a bit heavier, but it’s not a flimsy cheap shoe like a lot of cheaper Rockports are. I wore it new out the box and it was very comfortable. The heel is a bit stiff and may cause discomfort if you have cheap thin shoes. The side rubber panel are shiny for some odd reason which make no sense on a dress shoe like this. I would buy this shoe again.

These shoes are better looking than I thought the pictures showed, and were extremely comfortable-they were a little snug at first, but broke in really easily the first day. Zappos shipped these to me in two days-best online shopping experience I have ever had. If you need a casual dress shoe that is supportive, provides excellent shock absorbing abilities, and just good overall comfort, these shoes are worth their weight in gold.

These are a great buy. My first day in these, I was on my feet and hustling for almost 9 hours and though my feet were tired, they were not in pain. I get tons of compliments on these when I wear them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something that can be casual or dressy...so cute and comfy!

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
