Beautiful, but small toe box design. The shoe made a mark within a few minutes of trying them on at home on a carpet. It cuts the top of the big toe's base, even though I tried sizes 7.5 (my regular) and 8. I have a medium to narrow foot, and didn't expect Sofft to make a shoe that is so tough at the top. I do love their shoes in general, but will not try another size of this design. I bought Bella-Vita and Ros Hommerson shoes instead. Too bad because its inner sole (no pun intended) is comfy, as all Sofft shoes are.

This is such a cute, well made shoe. Unfortunately, even after trying a 1/2 size larger it just isn\'t comfortable. I had the toe plate stretched, so that I can wear them for short periods. But walking for an extended distance is definitely out of the question. If you have issues with the sesamoid bone in your foot, this shoe probably isn\'t your best choice.

Cute, but not true to size or comfortable -
I LOVE Sofft shoes. They manage to do super-cute shoes that are really comfortable. I was excited by these shoes when I saw them on Zappos because I have trouble finding flats that are stylish and actually have some support. These disappointed me. The toe is very pointy and uncomfortable, and the heel slipped off with every step and sizing down didn't help as they were way too small then. Really cute in person (I ordered the red), but both sizes were returned. If you have small toes or are used to pointy-toed shoes, these may work for you. I ended up getting Ecco's Boullion flat in red patent instead.

Cute, well-made, and fit perfectly. I started developing a bunion problem from wearing pointy toed shoes and searched for an alternative that didn't put pressure on my toe joints, but didn't look matronly, weren't too high, and came in wide. Comfortable to walk the 2 blocks back and forth to parking; appropriate for work. Love them!

I recently hurt my knees and was looking for shoes that would lessen the impact on my knees. A friend told me about Sofft shoes. I bought several pairs and have loved every one of them. These are comfortable shoes and yet look stylish.

These are some of the cutest flats I have ever seen, but I just could not get them to work for me. I ordered them in the Fire Red Patent (I dress pretty conservatively in term of color, but love to have a little pop on my feet). They appeared to be adorable online, yet they are even better in person! I have five pairs of Sofft shoes, and these were the first ones I thought were uncomfortable. The toe box was too narrow/short for me, and they slipped off at the heel. The half size smaller was just too small and stiff. This was a big bummer. If you are thinking about ordering them, still try them (there's, free shipping!) because they are so cute. I hope they work for you!

Love! Adorable, well-made shoes from Sofft that are comfortable and stylish. True to fit. It is difficult to find a low shoe with a small 1" heel that is good looking in wide, but this one is fabulous.

I have this shoe in brown. I was concerned that the buckle across the front was going to make it look clunky, but it really doesn't. The shoe is low-cut enough that it doesn't look heavy at all to me. It is really comfortable to walk in as well. It looks and feels like a really high quality shoe. The leather is really nice, too.

Cute and Comfy -- great shoes!
I get compliments on these all the time (I purchased patent black and patent red). Sometimes flats have no support at all, and it's hard for me to wear flimsy shoes due to my plantar fascia problems. These have enough support and padding to make a full day's wear comfortable. The only thing I needed to do to them was get them stretched a little at my local cobbler's where the buckle is, because I have a ginormous bunion. If I didn't have the bunion, these would have been perfect straight out of the box. Highly recommended, as they are cute with jeans, trousers, skirts, dresses and can be dressed down for casual wear, or dressed up for business wear.

A really smart looking shoe, perfect for business casual. I got the brown nappa color and it goes well with khakis and browns. The shoe appears to be well made and high quality. It is comfortable with some feet-friendly details like a little bit of arch support and padding. I would consider buying this shoe in another color.

I needed shoes that I could wear comfortably while commuting in New York via trains, sub-ways and lots of sidewalks, while still being fashionable enough to wear with slacks and skirts. These fit the bill to a tee!

I recently discovered the Sofft brand, and the Verano is another wonderful Sofft combination of comfort and style. I have wide feet, and the wide width of this shoe is actually wide. I\'ve had to return so many other brands that are labeled wide but aren\'t. These flats are wide across the toe, right where they\'re supposed to be, but don\'t gap in the heel. They feel great, and my students even complimented their looks! Go ahead and order a pair (or two), you won\'t be disappointed.

Super cute shoes! I ordered a pair in both black and fire red. They dress up casual and pair-off professional perfectly. I ordered in my true size 8.5 and they were tight, just like the other reviews stated. Returned them for 9 with no problems. I am glad I exchanged for the next half size up. The size 9 fits like a dream and are comfy teacher shoes.

Really cute shoes. Wanted to love them so much. Usually love Soffts shoes so I bought these with no trepidation at all! I wore them to work one day; I sit at a desk with very little walking around. By the end of the day the back of my left foot was bleeding! The toes are all squished up, too.

Very cute, very comfortable shoes. I have wide feet & a high arch, so I usually have a difficult time wearing flats; they don't stay on well and the toes are usually too cramped, or they are too flat and hurt my arches. I bought these in wide, and they fit well. They are very well made, have good arch-support as well. I think I will be buying them in multiple colors.

The shoes are very cute. However, even though I purchased the wide width, they are still a bit narrow. The material is also pretty stiff, so it can irritate the sides of my feet if I wear them longer than an hour or two.

The shoes are cute - I\'ve gotten compliments. The only thing I didn\'t like about this shoe is it gave me blisters on the outter front sides of both my feet. It\'s been a month, and it\'s still doing that - the shoe is stiff in the front, decent in the middle. My little toes go numb after wearing them for 8 hours in the office.

Sassy comfortable flat with attitude! Bought the red and oatmeal, but get tons of compliments on the red. Had to order a size larger than usual, then add insoles to get it to fit, but it was worth it! The shoe itself is quite comfortable, just ran a bit short for me.

I went a size bigger because of others reviews. While I love the look of the shoe, the heel is very hard - a first in all the Sofft shoes I've purchased, and the front seams hit boney nerve points on the top of my foot. As much as I love their look, they are very uncomfortable. After two days of wear, I will have to accept that they are well made, pretty shoes that I just can not wear.

Perfect with jeans, and cute with casual skirts. I was happy to find something from Sofft in wide. I measure at 8.5 Wide but usually have to wear a 9 or 9W and live with a little extra length. In this style the 8.5W is a perfect fit. This shoe is especially comfortable for a flat, with good cushioning and a little arch support. The edge of the shoe initially rubbed uncomfortably against my big toe joint, but after a couple wearings to break in, this is no longer a problem. The free end of the "belt" is staying put and showing no signs of curling or wear, a problem I usually have with styles like this.
