Lovely shoe, stiff sole -
The Rosebrooke is a great looking, classic black shoe. Nice and roomy in the toes, but little arch support. The sole doesn't flex well, so it's a clunky walk.

Love this shoe - but the 8B was too narrow -
I typically wear an 8 ½, but this shoe was slipping off my heel. Size 8 seemed to fit well. I wore them today for the first time and, after about 2 hours, my feet were killing me. The 8B was narrower than a typical B. The store I bought them from did not carry these shoes in a wide width. Unfortunately, I can't return the shoes because I wore them but I plan to return the 2nd pair I bought in a different color and order a wide off the net. I love the shoes and I think the wide width will take care of my problem.

I purchased theses boots a size smaller than I usually wear. Based on the majority review that they run a size small. But, after I wore them outside, I realized I should have gotten my size. But I have to say I Love these boots. Even if they are a little too small. Comfy, warm and snug.

These shoes are wonderful to wear with slacks. Be aware that they run larger than other shoe size. I have bunions so I always order D width. They are a little too big but wearing a heavy sock does the trick.

Wide heel -
The shoes are very comfortable and the short heel gives me height without discomfort. The shoes fits nicely across my toes, but flops on my heel. I have even tried putting on thicker socks when I wear them but it didn't work. I will take the advice from another review and try some store bought heel pads to see if that will take up the slack.

Love these shoes!!
I just received these shoes in the mail yesterday (in ONE day -- thanks Zappos!!). I loved them instantly when I pulled them out of the box. I've worn them all day and can't complain.

Clarks Rosebrooke a Great Shoe -
I love this shoe. No breaking in required. Comfortable from day one. There is just a little slippage in the heel, but not enough to warrant a smaller size. I generally wear clogs, and have pretty much forgotten what an enclosed shoe should feel like. This minimal slippage might be normal. That having been said, this die-hard clog wearer has found an enclosed shoe that is comfortable and looks good.

My entire educational and career life has been wearing a sound uniform shoe. I am now wearing business attire with the most comfortable shoes ever. I highly recommend "Clarks" brand to anyone.

Great look with both pants and tweed skirts. The heel has a puffy comfort band inside, which looks as if it should be great for insuring a gentle good fit, but it is still too wide so that band doesn't work for me and it flops up and down (sort of fixed with store bought heel pads). But I love the look enough to keep trying to fix them up right. The rest of the shoe fits nicely.

Instantly comfortable at first wearing -
Compared to the other pair of Clarks I own, these are wider and feel a half a size longer. So my heel slips a little bit, but overall they are very comfy and nice looking, generating many compliments.

These are great shoes!
I have another pair of Clarks shoes that are similar to this pair, so I ordered the same size; however, they were too tight. I returned them and got 1/2 size larger and they are perfect. I love the way they look and feel. I think I am stuck on Clarks shoes... and Zappos is a great company! I ordered the larger pair the day before Christmas Eve and they were on my doorstep when I got home from work the next day! I was totally amazed. And the ease of returning shoes that don't fit is wonderful!

This is a nice shoe, just not enough arch support for my feet. They also look a bit stodgy, which is fine with me as I bought them for work. I wouldn't want to wear them elsewhere, though.

Rosebrooke Review -
I own other Clarks shoes and I love the brand but this pair is being returned. I had to order a 1/2 size smaller than normal because of Zappos inventory (they didn't have my size). While the length of the shoe was okay the width was not. I ordered a medium width and soon realized no amount of stretching was going to accommodate my foot width at the base of the toes. I have reordered in the wide width and hope that will solve the problem. So if your foot runs slightly wide or you have any type of bunion problems be warned. Having said all that the shoe itself gives a very clean, thinning look and is a good basic style for anyone's shoe wardrobe.

Comfortable shoe with a nice look -
I wanted a shoe I could wear with dress pants that wasn't too dressy. This fits the bill. The chunky heel gives it a contemporary look, but I think the overall style will be something I can wear for a long time. As with most of the Clarks I've had, this is a well-made and very comfortable shoe that fits true to size.

The Best Clark Ever -
This is the best wearing shoe I have ever worn. I have a narrow heel and have a problem finding a good fit in this type shoe, but this one fits like a glove. I wore this shoe for 11 hours the first day and didn't want to take it off. Love the new footbed. I will buy more so I can have a match for everyday.

 |  | I am a F.T. bar tender and am on my feet all night standing, walking and sometimes running! I work hard! I have had the same work shoes that I LOVE for about 10 years! I found your site through my daughter and found a pair of what I thought would be good work shoes. I saved my tips and months later made the order. I was ambivalent about spending so much money on SHOES but decided to just do it! They arrived yesterday morning! I wore them last night for the first time forgetting to bring a back up pair in case they hurt (new shoes and all). Well, I'm just sooooo happy to say that I LOVE them! My feet were just fine – ALL NIGHT! They were like wearing slippers w/ arch support. This morning I put my poor old tired out work shoes in the trash with no regrets! Your staff was SO kind and helpful over the phone and the promptness of delivery was amazing! Thank you so much!
