They look great, but I must have an extra wide foot because they are too tight still. And they don't come in extra wide.

The Nurse Mates Marci is an extremely lightweight and comfortable shoe. This has great arch support and your heel doesn't slide around in them. They are very well made and durable. I am sure I will wear them a lot!

Very comfortable shoes, but they wear out quickly. The inside of the back just frayed. Also, the surface got scuffed very quickly. They moved very quickly from work shoes to bumming-around-the-yard shoes. These were the toffee color.

These are great nursing shoes but I'm not a nurse. I wear these shoes to massage therapy school. They are great with all the scrubs I wear for school. I ordered my regular size 6 and they are a perfect fit. My feet are on the narrow side so keep that in mind. Zappos is the best shop.

I love these shoes. I work 12 hour shifts on very hard floors and these are the most comfortable shoes that I have worn. They are very soft and lightweight. The only thing I don\'t like is the heel height, I find that these shoes would be a little more comfortable with higher heels.

1. Zappos is wonderful. I ordered these shoes and got them five days later, which is unheard of since I live in the interior of Alaska. Awesome fast. 2. I chose to try these shoes over other work/slip-resistant comfort shoes because of other reviews about how there's absolutely NO break-in time. THEY WERE RIGHT. I have never felt better in new shoes. It's like I've had them for three months already. Fit was perfect, true to size. 3. I rated the look as average because let's face it, they look like grandma shoes. You'd think I was walking around a golf course in Florida. And the back was tall enough to be annoying at first but too short to be any help keeping the shoe on. After about ten minutes I got used to it though. 4. Overall, I would (and already have) recommend.

Very comfortable work shoes -
I already own the brown pair and now ordered the black ones, can't wait until they arrive. I work 12 to 16 hours a day on my feet on hard floors, and these shoes are the only ones I have found so far that I can stand to wear the whole day.

I am not happy with the shoes I recently purchased from Zappos. Since I ordered the same shoes that I had ordered one year earlier I expected the shoes to be the same as I had got the year before, but they were not. I wore them to work and they hurt me all day and since I wore them outside I can not return them now. When I got home I held them beside the old shoes and they were noticeably smaller.

As Mary Poppins would say "They are practically perfect in every way!" Great fit, no break in period, adjustable where you need it. Perfect for my tendonitis and heel spurs. Sizing was great, too.

I am really thrilled that I bought these shoes. They are very comfortable and although they are slip on shoes they never slip off no matter how fast I need to move. I wear orthotic inserts and these raise my foot up and still the shoes stay on perfectly well. An added bonus is the adjustable strap on the instep which allows me to adjust the shoes to my foot size and loosen the shoes on those days when my feet swell. The textured leather also makes them quite attractive.

Work Shoes -
If you're looking for slip resistant shoes that look decent and are pretty comfortable, even with orthotics in them, then these are the shoes for you. I've had other 'slip resistant' shoes, but these are the best!

Comfortable Nursing Shoes -
I went back to work as a nurse after being out for 12 years. I found this shoe to not have a "break in" time; it was comfortable from the beginning. I wish it had a little more ‘cush’, but at 51 I may just not have any cush left in my feet.

The first time I wore these shoes I worked a 12 hour shift. My feet didn't hurt at all. Time will tell as to how long they last.

I had plantar fasciitis; I had a surgery for it and this shoe has been the only one that I have been able to wear without any problems. I had not been able to wear any new shoes in 8 months. My foot has a small arch, so I cannot find shoes that feel comfortable on my arch. The extra support on the heel makes a huge difference, especially if your heel is constantly suffering pain. By the way, I got them next day, too. I really love them; I am waiting for other colors to come out.

There was not break in period with this shoe. I put them on and was able to wear them for 12 hours the first day without any problems. Would definitely buy another pair.

Wore 12 hours the 1st day...
Seemed like I could wear these shoes easily around the house the 1st couple days, but the true test was at the hospital. My 12 hr. shifts make my feet and legs ache, but I barely thought of them the day I wore these shoes... comfy and more dressy than sneakers... I may get a pair in black, too.

The work shoe that works -
I am a cake decorator and work 40 hours a week. I am on my feet constantly and am required to wear slip resistant shoes. I was wearing athletic shoes that had a slip resistant sole but was never really satisfied with them. I wore Nurse Mate shoes a long time ago and had not been able to find them. I was so glad when I found these on Zappos site and ordered them. The first day I wore them to work I was pleased with the comfort of them and the fact that they were truly slip resistant. The shoe is well constructed and I found that they didn't slip on my foot as I was afraid they would. The only problem I am having is that my smallest toe on one foot rubs wrong and I now have a sore spot there. I am still wearing the shoes and hope for a callus to form soon. Oh well, live and learn you have to suffer the bad for all the good. Over all I recommend them as a really good product.

Great Style and Comfort!
These shoes are perfect for everything. I bought them to wear at work, but I find myself wearing them every where I go.
One of the things that I like about them is that they are easy to put on with the low back, but they don't fall off-even if I walk backwards.
They are made very well, they are comfortable, and they are easy to wear with just about every outfit.

Great shoe for anyone.
I loved this shoe as soon as I put it on. It fit well with a roomy toe box, and it was very comfortable in its arch support and footbed generally. I liked the velcro strap across, as this allowed for better fit and more secure feel to a low cut heel cup. I don't like many of the low cut heel type clogs as they feel like they're going to fall off. This shoe does not have that feel. It is comfortable, secure feeling, and true to size in length and width. Although I am no longer on me feet for 12-14 hours a day as I was when actively nursing, I do have times when I am on my feet for hours at a time on hard ceramic/stone floors, or just walking outside. A great shoe and great service, as always, from Zappos. [It took 3 tries to find a shoe that worked for me. Zappos cheerfully took the shoes back, paying all costs. [I have recommended them to family and friends.]

As Good As It Gets -
These shoes are every bit as comfortable as all the other reviewers said they were! I actually hesitated a week to try them out at work, because I ordered another pair at the same time, wore them first, and they were such a success that I couldn't imagine scoring with 2 pair of shoes that were such winners at the same time!!

This turned out to be a very comfortable shoe. When I tested them at home, the back of the shoe would slip and rub against my heel with every step, which worried me. I decided to keep them anyway. When I wore them at work, they never rubbed against my heel; in fact, they feel almost like wearing slippers at work!

Finally...my feet don't hurt!
I am on my feet for 15-17 hours a day...I have been to a podiatrist, used every kind of foot pain relieving product, purchased very expensive custom orthotics, and tried practically everything. Not until now have I had any extended relief. I love these shoes and will definitely buy more of this brand.
