When I started a new job that involved standing all day, I knew I needed some comfortable shoes. These had good reviews so I went with them over other brands (like Skechers). I'm very pleased with my decision! There definitely was a breaking in period of about a week, and now these shoes are golden. I wear them all day with minimal foot ache, 5 days a week. I found them quite true to size and a good width for me (I have average sized feet). They also look nice and the tread is decent enough for walking all around the city in the rain. Overall, these are an excellent shoe for people who are on their feet all day and want something a little more attractive.

It is not easy for me to find nice looking shoes because I have wide feet. Zappos has so much variety of everything shoes that I was able to find the perfect pair of shoes for my big feet. Thanks so much Zappos guys!

This is my second pair of this shoe and I love them. I am on my feet all day as a restaurant manager and need a shoe that has a non slick bottom for wet floors in the kitchen and enough support to keep my legs from aching after 9 hours. They look nice with dress pants as well.

These shoes are very comfortable. I do not stand all day, but they are nice to dress up a bit in a casual work environment. At first, the band over the top of the foot was snug, but broke in nicely. Very durable and comfortable everyday shoe!

I purchased the Nurse Mate Callie Black right at 1 yr ago. I work at a library and do a lot of walking - purchased for the support and wanted something that looks nicer than always wearing running shoes. I do not wear these every day. I found within a few months of wearing that they seem stretched and kind of sloppy. it has never felt like they are at all too big - I've recently notice a strange noise when I walk in them: I discovered the sole of the left shoe is split across (near the ball of my foot) needless to say I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of this shoe. I notice that Dr. Scholl's puts out a similar looking shoe at Wal-Mart for a 1/2 the price. I totally LOVE everything about Zappos. I just won't buy this brand again.

Nice looking, lightweight, good traction--but I'm returning them because they just don't fit right. Too tight across the top (even for a wide) and too big on the heel. I tried two sizes and I'm returning both.
Too bad. . . .

How cool is it to order a pair of shoes, in your size, and when they arrive they fit perfectly! Admittedly it took a couple of wearings for the break-in, but no pain or discomfort was involved. True to size and width, great shoes.

I always wear a 7 1/2 or 8 regular. I got these in an 8 thinking they would fit just fine both because they are nursing shoes (suitable for being on feet all day) and most of the reviews seemed to think they fit true to size. They are narrow for me and I've been gradually stretching out the arch area to fit more comfortably. I'm looking around for an 8 wide but have yet to find them anywhere. I love how they look; however, and are way cheaper than the usual closed back clog.

Good construction -
These are well made and true to size and comfortable. However, they were not "all day comfortable" as I had hoped. I'm on my feet for 10 hours+ and they are not as cushioned inside as I think they should be. After about 6+ hours, the balls and heels of my feet hurt.

Being on your feet all day it is hard to find a shoe that will be comfortable. These are great shoes.

Never Before...
These shoes should be called COMFORT Callie Black! I have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes, these are fabulous. They are true to size. I stand many hours on concrete floors and these are the best!

Awesome brand, but this style missed the mark -
Nurse Mates are a great brand and this shoe looks stylish for a "comfort" shoe. This style, however, was too deep in the heel area so that the sides of the shoe came up too high and were jabbing into that soft spot right under your ankle, causing discomfort. Unfortunately, I am returning this style and will try a different one from the same brand.

Casual clogs for work wear -
In searching for a shoe to don with skirts & short pants while hoping for something upscale enough to be the dressy tag-along for an upcoming Europe excursion, I wanted a walking-friendly clog. These didn’t seem to be the world's most comfy shoes at first without my insoles, which I wear with everything. However, we've adapted to one another and I am very fond of Callie. Not as hip as I’d hoped but I tend toward shoes that are relaxed and classic. I didn’t do wrong with these, though I’d have liked to compare them with Dansko clogs as they may've been the best for my tastes. Not disappointed at all, ill be happy with my Callies.

By far this has been the most comfortable shoe that I have found for standing on your feet for 8 hours a day. The fit is feels true to size; however, it could use a little more arch support.

These are very comfortable. It didn't take long to break them in. They look nice with jeans. I plan to take them on trips where there is a lot of walking.
