I bought these shoes, and really liked them at first, I thought they were stylish, comfortable, and quality. The leather stretched out a lot and soon they were too big for me. I had to purchase insoles to make them more comfortable as time wore on, and after only seven months of 50 hour work weeks, they have a hole at the leather where it meets the sole, and the stitching is coming apart at the toe. Perhaps because they are too big? They were great in the beginning, don't get me wrong, but order your true size or a tad smaller than the norm would be my suggestion.

It is what it is advertised as - a work shoe. Comfortable, but not so fashionable. For me, a big bonus is no squeaking (I have a pair of Dansko clogs and they started squeaking after less than 1 month). One thing: they are deep (for orthotics maybe?) so sometimes the edge rubs my ankle. This hasn't been an issue though.

Working in a fast-paced restaurant this shoe is great. It keeps me safe on the floors and still looks professional. It is a nice looking shoe that has held up under lots of food, fry grease, and many spills.

Decent work shoe -
It is difficult to find decent work shoes that are comfortable, professional and nonslip. These do a decent job. Despite what everyone wrote I ordered these in my size rather than adjusting up. Boy am I glad. Initially they were snug and a bit uncomfortable, but no blisters. Now it's been two months and they are now a bit loose in the heel. Otherwise they fit true to size. I have noticed no degrading of workmanship and I've worn them in the rain, heat, outside, inside for weeks on end.

Not what I thought!
I was so excited to see this shoe as I previously owned a very similar looking pair of Simple brand shoes that are no longer made. While this shoe looks the same, it is no way as comfortable. It has no cushion to it like a Simple (before they went all crunchy granola style) or Clarks. It ran small for the size and within a week the stitching on the elastic ripped apart. Also, the sole traps very small rocks all the time and they have scratched my floor.

Super cute shoes. I ordered the Walnut and was a little worried that the red stitching would be too much of a contrast, but it's really quite subtle. I read the reviews which indicate this shoe runs a little short. I ordered up a half size to the 9 1/2 which turned out to be perfect. Nice wide toe box. Pretty decent arch support, but since I have plantar fasciitis I will go ahead and use my orthotic insoles anyway. As always, Zappos has terrific customer service. I ordered standard shipping but they gave me a free upgrade to overnight. Ordered the shoes yesterday and received them today. Zappos, you are awesome!

Comfortable the moment you slip into them! These shoes are pretty comfy and they are slip resistant, so if you live in rainy areas, they are helpful in getting you to and from work. They look like a standard loafer, but I love Skechers so I knew I would like these to wear with pants to work. If you want a shoe that looks great with slacks and feels good the first time on, then this pair is for you. My feet did not hurt at all after wearing them and they are wider than most other loafers so you don't feel you have to squeeze your foot into the shoe.

I work for a school district assisting in managing the school lunch program for 7 schools. We are walking in kitchens, walk-in freezers, refrigerators, counting and hauling inventory. These shoes look great with business casual attire.
