This Birkenstock Orlando is a wonderful fit. I've had a similar one for years that I've worn every day at home. This one felt just the same immediately. I have a very narrow foot so the this level of comfort in a narrow width plus the adjustable buckle straps make this shoe a great choice for years of use.

Wonderful quality in a comfortable sandal. The three straps makes it easier to keep on and adjustable straps are better for my very wide, high arch feet. Sizing could be a problem; I usually wear a 7, but the 36 (5-5.5) fits best.

I first ordered according to the sizing guide thinking they were the same size as I had always bought, 42R, because I wear an 11W shoe. But when I received them and they were huge, I realized that my previous Birkenstocks were all 40R! Because I have developed some problems with my feet in recent years, I exchanged them for a 41R, which worked out fine. It was the color that attracted me to this particular Birkenstock. I wanted something "neutral" that I could wear with just about anything. This golden brown was it! It is almost like a dark metallic gold, a perfect neutral for jeans, shorts, etc. As all of my previous Birks have been, these are great!

Great looking Birks -
I used the sizing conversion chart and had to return the first 2 Birks because they were so large. I ended up getting a size 5 narrow and all my other shoes are size 7.5 B. The Birko-Flor in the dark brown has a copper sheen so they look less casual but still have that great footbed and are so comfortable. I have a high arch and instep so the arch support is a must for me and these do the trick.

The only shoe for me -
I must have 15 pair of Birkenstock sandals. It was a lucky day for me when I found Zappos. I have never had to return a single pair since each pair ordered there fit like a glove. Thank you Zappos

Getting compliments every time -
Everyone loves these sandals, esp. me. They're so comfortable! The most amazing thing is that they actually do help my posture. I didn't know this was a feature of Birkenstocks. I just noticed the first few times I wore them I was standing up straighter and pulling my shoulders back more. When I decided to go back to Zappos to buy another pair in black, I linked over to the Birkenstock web site & read about how these sandals were supposed to do exactly what they were doing - improve posture. I am glad I wore them & noticed this BEFORE I read about it or I might've assumed it was the power of suggestion. So there you have it - comfort, compliments and better posture/less back pain. Who could ask for more when Zappos pays the freight?

Comfy and cute!
I really like this style of Birky's and use them for slippers and around the house. They tend to run large, I originally bought 37s and exchanged them for a 36 and now they're perfect for my short and wide little feet.

OUTSTANDING ORLANDO'S ROCK!!!!
I am a true Birkenstock FAN!!! Arizonas and Bostons were my favorites, until accidently I tried on a pair of Orlandos!!! Of course now I think they are so wonderful and stay on your feet so well!! You never know what will be next!! Thank you Birkenstock for letting me walk again!!!!

Surprised by straps -
I was surprised when my Birk's arrived because I had no expectation that the straps would be a shiny plastic (upper) and cloth material (underneath). I was disappointed and expected them to be suede or smooth leather, like my other pair of the same model/size. The size was the same as my ten year old pair of suede strapped, so the fit was fine. I have a very narrow foot (3A) so I don't have a lot of choices, and liked my ten year old Birk's. I think this style, at least in my size, is discontinued, so I kept it and will get used to the shining bronze color (like a penny for my thoughts here).

These sandals met my expectations and I will be wearing them often. They are comfortable. It is a good price for a Birkenstock. The straps do not look like the picture however. They are hard leather and slightly shiny and the first 2 from the toe are attached at an angle. I have been told by a few people that they like the style.

I love Birk's -
Orlando is my favorite Birk. I prefer the strap style over my Arizona’s. I also love my clogs for a full-coverage Birk.

Birkenstock sandals-clogs FANTASTICALLY COMFORTABLE -
The Birkenstock clogs and sandals are fantastically comfortable. I wear them everywhere and have about a dozen pairs. Great price.

I own this shoe, had to give them away. I can only wear the Orlando 'Papillio' foot bed, if you have fallen arches or need arch support purchase Papillio.

For me, the greatest comfort -
I write primarily because of the first reviewer's comment that this sandal was not comfortable. For me, this has been the most comfortable Birk I've ever owned (been wearing these since 1972). To each her own ...
I just bought a pair of Orlando's in silver (ugh) simply because of the style. I'd welcome a little more conservative style in these, but cannot give up the comfort.

Beautiful shoe, but no support.
I wear Birkenstocks constantly and have about 15 pairs. The print on these shoes is one of the most beautiful designs I've ever seen on a Birkenstock. Unfortunately, this style fails to provide the level of arch support that I expect from a Birkenstock. The arch is left completely exposed in the design of these shoes; thus, I found these shoes much less comfortable than other Birkenstocks I have owned. If arch support is important to you, this may not be the best choice, even though they are lovely looking.
