Too many buckles maybe - I liked the look of these boots on-line. They fit well and seem well made, but in person I thought they looked cheap, something about the straps and buckles.

I totally agree with all the other reviewers. These are fabulous in almost every way. Looks, sizing, versatility, quality, etc... The only negative is that the soles are smooth and so a bit slippery. The heel bottom is mildly ridged.

Buckles and black leather are a great combo!
These boots are so cute. They fit very true to size. They look great with leggings, skinny jeans, and skirts. I highly recommend them.

These are keepers! I ordered five pair of black boots, all with some kind of strappy, buckle ornamentation, and these are the keepers. I wanted something a little bit edgy, but not too "tough" or motorcycle-boot looking. Of all the boots, these by far fit the best, are the most comfortable and have the most versatile look. They are cuter than in the picture and very comfortable. They look terrific on the leg. The leg is lined with a low-pile, soft, supple, fur-type fabric, which will be warm in winter, but doesn't feel too hot or heavy on warmer days. They allow for comfortably tucking in skinny jeans or cords and look terrific like that, but still hug my calf enough to look great with skirts and tights. Not sure how they manage both, but are the only boots I tried that do look just right both ways. They are dressy and classy enough that they look terrific with a nice skirt and sweater, but still have a touch of edginess. They have just a teensy bit of that "tuff girl" thing, just enough to be more fun than a plainer boot.
