Another reviewer mentioned this shoe working well with an AFO (Ankle-Foot Orthotic, a brace). Based on that and a new left AFO causing all new shoes, I gave it a try. Perfect! There are two insoles so the depth can be regulated even more. Inside my shoes are: bottom Propet insole, metal footplate from my brace, custom heel lift, then full length "regular" orthotic for arch and plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. Nice-looking shoe, doesn't look like what you'd expect for something to fit with braces. No old-fashioned "orthopedic shoe" look to it. I will try several of their other styles.

 |  | I just wanted to say THANK YOU to your amazing team of persons at Zappos. The ENTIRE shopping experience has been PERFECT. I purchased my 'dream come true' boots, & although you didn't have anything to do with 'making' them you had everything to do with me getting them finally. I have been looking for them since I saw them (or this design) in Spain 5 yrs ago. Locally I found them only in one place & they were sold out. Again sold out on the store web site, & nowhere else had anything like them. But at Zappos...BINGO! And, I received them in only TWO days. You are fantastic!
