Bought these shoes on a Monday and put them on for the first time for our plane ride to Vegas on Wednesday- wore them all day and loved them!!! Not too many shoes you can put on the first day and walk for 12 hours and feel fine!!! Love Zappos!!!

These are like 2 shoes in one! They look great with jeans and look like you are wearing boots. I\'ve had lots of compliments on them. So comfortable that I might buy them in black too.

The quality and construction of these shoes are typical Born, very good. However, they run a bit narrow. I have medium to narrow feet and they are tight and hard to get on. Overall, they are comfortable and very easy on the feet for long durations. The heels are softer and seem to have some 'give' so they are easy on the feet and legs when walking. Great shoe, but definitely not for wider feet.

I was looking for a shoe with some pretty specific criteria: comfortable enough for extended walking, more fashionable than my Dansko clogs (I'm starting to believe Stacy and Clinton when they say pointed toes create a longer line) and able to withstand soggy Oregon winters. This shoe fits the bill on all counts. Some reviewers found the arch support uncomfortable, but while slightly noticeable, it doesn't bother me, and I've been wearing these almost daily since I got them about a month ago. They're not cutting-edge fashion, but they do look better with jeans and cords than my clogs, and they work for pretty much any occasion in laid-back Portland. I wear a 39 Birkenstock and ordered both an 8.5 and a 9. The 8.5s were too snug with winter socks, so the 9s were the keepers.

These shoe boots fit true to size and are amazingly comfortable. Love them! Look great with jeans and are the perfect heel height for just hanging out or doing the mall scene. Got them the day after I ordered them. Gotta love Zappos!

Great shoe! I purchased the truffle color. Truffle color is darker across the toe box of the shoe. I like the look. I am almost ALWAYS a 6.5 M. The 6.5 fits me well. I tend to like a little bit of heel on a shoe as I am short. Most shoes are either too high or too flat. This height is great and the shoe is comfortable. The arch support in the shoe felt a little odd (did not hurt) when I first put them on. I quickly formed to my arch. I am thinking about getting another pair!

Love these shoes!!! They are so comfy and look cute and stylish with jeans. The angle is a little steep, so your foot feels a little strange after wearing them for long periods of time, but they look super cute and are still waaay more comfortable than any other non-Born shoe.

I ordered these Saturday, got them on Monday, put them on and went out. It was like I've owned them forever. The most comfortable. I have overpronation in my right foot and these shoes held my feet straight. I usually wear 8 or 7-1/2. Since you were out of 8s, I ordered the 7-1/2 and they fit perfectly. I knew if I kept ordering different shoes from you, I would find the perfect pair. I don't mind returning shoes that don't feel good on my feet to Zappos. You're customer service is the best. I tell everyone where I get my shoes, even when they don't want to know.

These are the most comfortable shoes that I own! I purchased them to go with a pair of jeans on the weekends, and I couldn\'t believe how comfortable they were....no breaking in needed! My husband says that they are very sexy with jeans. They are very stylish, and I absolutely love the heel, which reminds me of a western shoe. Perfect height on the heel, and plenty of support. Very comfortable...can\'t wait to put them on today! Worth every penny and I actually bought another style of Born shoes, intending to return one pair, but but ended up keeping both! I wear shoes between 7 and 7.5, and bought the 7.

These shoes have enough height and a long enough toe to make your legs look longer. Cowboy heel kind of fun. Very comfortable, can walk all day in them. I have them in two colors.

I was looking for a shoe with a mid-height heel which would look good through the fall and winter, which wouldn\'t be ruined in mildly wet conditions or the occasional snowy patch, and wasn\'t a clunky clog or a boot. I\'m very pleased with this find. It\'s well-made, nicely finished inside and out, sturdy and will probably last as long as my Danskos did. Good value.

These shoes combine comfort, looks, and, I suspect, durability. Any Born shoe that I have owned can be described in these terms. The leather is thick, but supple. The sole is flexible. The best part for me: the heel is both a nice height (I'm 5'3'', so I always welcome the extra inch or two), and shock-absorbent, so your feet don't feel it, even after prolonged walking. The design of this shoe is very thoughtful. There is cushioning all around the upper edge, in addition to hidden elastic goring on the sides, so that when you walk your foot doesn't feel the pressure. I've had shoes that hug the foot like this shoe, but without the cushioning, I could feel the edge pressing on the top of my foot, or the edge of the heel digging in behind my ankle. This is exactly what Born has thoughtfully eliminated in this shoe, so that it hugs your foot without hurting it. My only warning: order a half size down.

As others have said, no "breaking in" period at all! These shoes were immediately comfortable. I love that this shoe is a slip on, and gives you the look of a boot, without fully committing. They also look good with any longer pants, boot cut jeans especially. My only personal complaint is that I felt there wasn't enough support for the ball of my foot, the one time I did some extensive walking in a city center. Otherwise, as with Born shoes in general, these give me exactly what I want: comfort and style!

These are fabulous! First of all, they look so great with jeans. They can go for any occasion: the casual day around town or a night out. And the best part is they are so comfortable. I have a neuroma and bunions and have a terrible time finding shoes that are stylish and comfortable. These are a winner.

I love these shoes! They are great with jeans and so comfortable. They are easy to get on and off which means they are great for travel. The first time I wore them was on a trip to New York and I loved them. I like a little bit of a heel and can't do most high heeled boots as they hurt my feet. These are perfect. I'd recommend them because they are stylish, comfortable, and a great brand for the money!

I love these shoes. I was looking for a comfortable, casual shoe with a lower heel, not flat, and these are perfect. Comfortable, though I did have to use foot petals so my foot wouldn't slide to the front. Now they are perfect. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear. Great to wear with jeans.

Great shoes! They are very comfortable except for one tiny detail, more on that below. They look great! As others have mentioned, they look just like a boot under jeans and pants, but are so much more comfortable and convenient. Love the shape, leather quality, heel height, everything! As far as the comfort issue, there is a strange sort of built-in arch pad, it's sewn into the insole. Not big at all, but it caused excruciating pain on my instep, and my feet are not flat either! However, I loved these shoes so much in every other way, I didn't want to return them. I considered taking them to my cobbler and having him replace the insoles, which I will probably do eventually, but in the meantime, I did something I have never done to another pair of shoes: I performed surgery. I took a utility knife, made a slit in the side of the "arch support" section, and easily tore/pried the rubber "arch support" out of that section. Amazing that such a small, thin piece of foam rubber could cause so much pain, but when I put the shoes on after this "surgery," they felt like slippers. So comfortable. I probably won't take them off again until next Spring.

Love these booties! As soon as they arrived I took them out of the box to try on and didn't take them off. They are incredibly comfortable and very stylish. I wear them practically every day, they are the perfect casual boot for me. The height of the heel is great too, but not so high that it is uncomfortable for wearing all day - yet not so low that my jeans/pants touch the ground. I highly recommend this shoe, for that matter anything from the Born brand. And thumbs up to Zappos for the lightning fast delivery! I opted for standard shipping (7 days) and they arrived the next day.

Most comfortable pair I own! I ordered these shoes in black last year and will be ordering the brown soon. I love to country and western dance, but don't like the flat boots with my jeans. These shoes are super cute and are like walking on air, the longer you wear them the more comfortable they get.

These shoes are true to size and very comfortable, even for someone like me who doesn't regularly wear heels. The shoes needed no break-in time to feel good, and the first time I wore them I was in them all day, doing quite a bit of walking. They look great with jeans and I love the subtle leather shading. It didn't bother me that the heel was positioned a bit differently than on other shoes I still found them easy to walk in. I would consider buying a second pair in black.

These shoes have a sleek profile, but look a little like a western boot. They fit me very well and I have a high arch. I like the little bit of extra arch support. For me, they fit true to my size 8. They make me a little taller than I'd like; a one or one & half inch heel would have been fine with me, but they feel great and look great.

 | | Dear Zappos, Okay, help me understand something. I place an on-line order last evening at about 8:00. I screw up how to use my store credit and cant figure out how to fix it. I resort to calling your toll free number to fix my stupid mistake and expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes. Wow is all I can say! A real live person answers the phone in two rings after I debated with myself whether or not to press the option for joke of the day. He corrects my problem and even makes the decision to not charge my credit card for the less than $2 difference between my store credit and the amount due for the running shoes I ordered. On top of this, the shoes were sitting on my doorstep tonight after I came home from work. I even wore them for my evening workout. How dare you do this in less than 20 hours after my mistake! You just set the customer service pole vault bar at 37 feet in my book! Terrific, terrific service. Thank you very much! I now consider myself a customer for life. You all will have to work very hard to make me buy a pair of shoes from another company. Im new to Zappos and you can bet I will be looking to Zappos for other purchases! Many thanks... my next order will be tomorrow evening so I can surprise my wife with a new pair of Berks she wants, but actually needs... it isnt always good to want things!
