Finally, boots that fit my "linebacker" calves!
I have lived my full 39.5 years having never owned a pair of boots. We all have our little body issues, and mine has always been my legs. When I was in grade school, the boys gave me a nickname based on a football player because I have the calves of a linebacker. I have made due, and even made peace with this. But today...today I finally own a pair of boots. I'm an 8.5WW shoe with calves about 19 Inches in circumference. These boots fit me exactly right. I'll be buying the other colors now.

Must have GIANT calves -
I have big feet. If my feet were smaller I would tip over. Not everyone with big feet has big calves! There should be more room in the toe area and less loose fabric in the calf area.

I ordered this boot in both colors. I have 19.5 inch calves and the calf of this boot is almost 3 inches too big. Because I wear 13ww, it wasn't possible to get a smaller calf size. Believe it or not there's too much room around the leg! Also there needs to be more cushion inside the sole area. You'll need to buy insoles for sure.

Great Buy -
I purchased these boots while searching for something else. I had always wanted some red boots...but my size (women's 12-13) was always an issue. When I saw they only had one pair left in my size I thought I could try them and always return if I didn't like them. Well...I just chunked the return label. They are comfortable and will forever stay in my wardrobe. My only dislike it that they bunch a little at the ankle. I'll be wearing them mainly with jeans, so that's not a problem for me. Definitely a great buy for me!

Cool & sexy wide calf boots -
Stylish wide calf boots, especially in patent leather, are hard to find. I don't usually wear heels, but these were very comfortable. They fit well around the calf without being saggy around the ankles. Purchased these because my boyfriend wanted to see me in sexy boots. These did the trick!

Finally, a shoe that fits my fat feet!
A little higher than I usually wear, but needed a good pair of black dress boots for interviewing, going out, etc...I have been looking for 3 years for a wide width boot that would fit my small, very wide foot...and finally found it! Could be a 1/2 size to a size smaller, but by the time I figured that out, they were sold out...so I know for next year. They do sag a bit at the ankle, but it's minor compared to finding a boot that fits...thank you!!

Great Super Wide Calf Boot -
I have super wide calves and this book is great. Looks very classy and the heel is low enough that it makes for a comfortable shoe for casual or dressy outings. I normally wear a size 6-6 1/2 and I got a 7 and fits perfect so order a half size up.

I have these boots in both red patent and black leather. Can wear all day without difficulty. I have gotten loads of compliments on the red ones. Comes wide. The first pair I bought in 7W which were more wide than necessary, so the next ones I got in M with, perfect fit (and I am a plus size girl).

I ordered these boots after reading several reviews that pointed to their overall comfort and style. Priced at less than $100, it seemed a good value purchase. It was. I can wear the boots for hours without any discomfort. One thing though is that the way the boot is constructed with the pointy toe I feel like it makes my size 9.5 foot look a little longer than if I were in rounded toe boots.

In addition to needing boots that come in extra wide calf, I also have a high instep which makes it almost impossible to find comfortable knee high boots to fit. After shopping all over for a couple of years, I finally began searching the internet. I found these boots I am completely satisfied. The boots are not only comfortable but very stylish! My only complaint is that they only come in black and I would love to have them in other colors.

I originally order a 6.5 in this style because other reviewers stated that it ran large. The foot and calf were very tight, so I order a wide with. It was very wide in the calf--a gap at the top which I was surprised about since I have very short, athletic calves. The foot is a little too roomy and the pointy toe a little long. I kept them anyway because I needed a tall black boot and hadn't found one to fit my calf. The boot is okay, but I find myself tripping on the pointy toe. I originally order a Clarks stretch/leather black boot which fit well, but I gave it to my daughter because she really needed a black boot. By the time I was going to re order, my size was gone...

Finally a boot that fits!!!!!!
Since having problems with my legs, I couldn't find a fashionable/sexy boot to fit my legs. This boot stretches and I'm amazed at how it feels. The heels are just right for my 5'7" body. Even my husband couldn't believe that I finally got into a pair of boots after 5 years of trying. Thank you David Tate's.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Tell them to try them all, if it doesn't fit, mail it back with Zappos easy return labels.

I really liked the look of these shoes even more in person but they did not work out for me. They were so narrow! I really wish they would have fit because they seemed like they were supportive & lightweight. I would also suggest ordering a half-size larger to accommodate thicker winter socks.

Ankles sag too much.
Black patent - Looks very cute, but sagged too much at the zipper around the ankles for me to keep. I have 17.5" calves and 8W fit perfectly; calf was snug but not uncomfortably so and the foot part was wide enough for my feet. I would have kept them if they did not sag so much around the ankles. Black microfiber - While the 8W in black patent fit was a good fit, the 8W in the micro was waaaay too big.

If you have normal or thin calves, these will look ridiculous and fall down your leg... I returned them.

Wonderful boots!
They feel like slippers, look great, are easy to zip and have good sole for slippery weather as well! I love these boots during the first hour I have them on or in the sixth hour!

Nice Boots -
These really are nice boots - they look very good, feel good and comfortable, and the other reviewers were right - they go very easily over a larger calf. The only thing that really bugs me about this boot is that it sags at the ankle on the inside, where the zipper is. It looks bad to me, but I wear them anyway.

This boot worked great for me. I have a high instep and wide foot and it makes it hard to find boots sometimes, I love these boots I have been looking for red patent and these are great and I can wear them for more than just a few hours because of the heel ht. Thanks

The patent leather really makes these boots special. I get a lot of compliments on them and they are extremely comfortable. I also have pretty large calves and find that the regular calf size is ample enough for me. A great boot all the way around!

Definitely a classic! I'd recommend following the advice many have said-order a 1/2 size smaller than usual. I'm a fairly true womens size 6 and the 5.5 fits me great. I love these sneakers because my feet are very narrow, and they fit perfectly. Great go-with-anything sneakers that won't go out of style.

Mod boot! Get it in Black Patent for a super glam look!
Great boot! Perfect heel height, very comfortable. This boot looks great with dressier dresses/skirts and can certainly go casual. Wear it with black tights to give the look of a more elongated leg. The calf width is very good in medium. I ordered a 1/2 size larger just to be sure so the calf would fit well. I've received lots of compliments while wearing these boots.

You should know that the width of the calf increases with the width of the boot. I purchased WW because I need the width in the foot, but the calf width is too wide.

Stylish, comfortable, and fit my large calves!
I got these in the black microfiber, and I love them! I originally ordered these boots in the extra-wide width, but had to send those back because they were too big. So instead I got the 9 M and they fit perfectly. Quite a surprise, because I have rather large calves. It's genetic - even when I'm at my lowest weight, my leg circumference from ankle to knee is unusually large. I have a hard time finding boots that will even zip up, much less be comfortable. These fit the bill perfectly. And they are so cute! I love that the toe, while slightly squared at the end, is also elongated enough not to look stubby. I wear these boots with skirts and pants, and they look terrific. The only drawback is they are still quite forgiving, even in the medium width. This makes them comfortable, but they do droop just a tiny bit, which makes the zipper pop out sightly at the ankle. However, it's not terribly noticeable. I still love them!
