Finally found the ones -
After ordering about 7-8 pairs of boots (THANK YOU ZAPPOS), I finally found one that is comfortable and stylish. I wear a 7 1/2 but ordered an 8 to be able to wear thick socks. They fit perfect with enough room for socks. They not only look great but are extremely comfortable. The day I received them, I wore them for a couple of hours without any discomfort. I hope that they protect my toes from the cold.

Expected more -
Well, after reading all of the positive reviews, I was expecting much more. First, they look very good, just like in pics, but I thought the cuff at the top would be more snug than it is to cling and help keep out snow. It's kind of bulky so if wearing without thick pants tucked in, there is room for snow to get in. Warm? Um, in a word, no. In 20-30F they're OK if I'm not out in it for long, but only a few minutes in single digits and my toes were going numb. They're not overly grippy, either - on smooth wet surfaces I have to be extra careful. Overall, they don't really do what I bought them to do: be a REAL warm winter boot that looks stylish, not clunky. They're stylish and waterproof, not much else.

Fantastic winter boot!
Not only is this boot surprisingly comfortable--I walked over a mile in them the other day--they are completely practical. The treads are fantastic and handle snow and ice pretty well, plus the boots are very warm. I highly recommend these boots!

Great snow bunny boots!
I'm really happy with these boots. I got them in white. They give me an extra 4 inches on my height, but I can still wear them all day without my feet hurting. They can be worn under jeans or with a skirt. They look great!

Fantastic!!
I have been searching for years for a boot that was warm enough for very cold weather, comfortable, and looked good enough so that I would not have to carry shoes and change at work. And most importantly, and the most difficult thing to find, a heel for some added height. I NEVER wear shoes with any less than a 2 inch heel, and preferably more, so I wasn't comfortable wearing flat boots. Yet it seems that most of the really warm ones are either flat or close to it. So when I saw these, I just had to give them a try. I hesitated for quite a while because they seemed sort of overpriced for a boot that is primarily not even leather. I waited until it said there was only one pair left, and realized that I had found something that satisfied all of my criteria, and I just had to go for it. I'm really happy that I did. The comfort level is amazing, I get three inches of extra height without looking like I'm on stilts, and they look good with a suit or with jeans or dressy pants tucked in or out. I'm between a 7.5 and 8, so I ordered the 8 and they are fine even if I need to wear a thicker sock. As another reviewer mentioned, they are a little harder to get on and off than boots with a zipper, but nothing extreme, just 5 seconds more and worth every one of them!

Just be careful if you have wide feet. The front of these was too narrow for my relatively wide feet, but the back fit fine. And that was with thin socks...wouldn't work with warm socks. Also a bit tacky in person. Sent them back.

Winter -
I have to stand out at the bus stop in the cold. It’s muddy, slushy and sloppy, but my feet stay warm and dry in these boots they are so comfortable for how high they are. The traction is excellent in the snow and slush. I don’t slip at all. I just wipe them off and continue my day at school.

Bought this exact style back in the 70's and I still have them. They are gorgeous with the cuff up and a tight pair of jeans. Add a blazer and its perfection. Or keep the cuff down and add a soft ruffle blouse. They fit true to size and are really comfortable. Look great with long flowing skirts too.

Superb, fun boot!
Cute, cute, cute, but best of all, I just LOVE the engineering of the footbed and heel. I am a veteran wearer of heels, having strutted my stuff in stilettos for years, however, I haven't worn heels higher than 3" in over a year, so I was worried that these would be too high for comfortable wear. Well, Report got these right! My weight does not feel overly pushed forward onto the balls of my feet. A good percentage of my weight is on my heels, making these comfortable for a day of walking. Also, the toe area is quite rounded and provides ample room, even with winter socks and an insert. Regarding sizing, I normally wear an 8 in boots with thick socks and an added 3/4-foot insole. There's plenty of room for all of that in these boots. I was also worried that my slender calves would swim too much, but while there's definitely room to spare, my legs don't look ridiculous. FYI, the heel is just short of 4", the platform is about 7/8", and the inside circumference at the top of my size 8 measures 11 1/2".

At last! This is just the classy, comfy slipper, in natural fiber (not animal skin), I was searching for. Sweet and elegant, like clouds and teddy bears hugging your feet.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these boots!
Very comfortable and look great. Unlike many wedge platform boots, they're not clunky. Only problem (for me) is that they're a bit hard to get in and out of because they're close fitting around the ankle and don't have a zipper. I have these in back and grey and I'm thinking of getting a third pair, I like them that much...

Couldn't believe when I saw these boots! All the styles this year were either high stilettos or real clunky (which are nice) but not for everyday wear. These boots combined style, warmth and durability for Canadian winters!
