These look great, but felt horrid. I should have returned them when I tried them on and felt it rub against my heel. I have other Privos that fit great and did not require breaking in, so I kept them anyway because they are so cute. After wearing them on just a few errands, I got a terrible blister on my heel in two places. I'm not sure why these are so different, but I had read this elsewhere about these shoes and wish I had listened. Not worth it.

I absolutely love this shoe! I am a young professional in my late 20s who loves to be stylish, but has some medical problems so I try to save heels strictly for the office and nights on the town. This is a great compromise for leisurely walking and rushing to work in the AM; these shoes are stylish, yet supportive with great treads for slick weather (more so than ballerinas or super flat shoes). Also, the metallic color gives it a youthful look. I also wore these all over Italy for 3 weeks. The only issue I have is that the elastic has a tendency to bother the back of the feet, but band-aids, if necessary, do the trick. From a sizing perspective, they are fairly true to size but I'm an 8 1/2 - 9, but usually more a 9. In these shoes, I ordered an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I'm giving 4 stars because of the elastic issue.

These are very cute and the soles feel comfortable, but, just like others have said, they really hurt above my heels. I have already worn them outside, so I can't return them. I'm really upset because they weren't cheap. I hope they'll soften in the back, but lots of reviewers say they don't.

Love "Hammock"
I had this shoe in the pewter and would wear them every day if I could get away with it. So I got them in the black patent just to have an alternative. The black shoes are a little stiffer and for some reason a little tighter (perhaps b/c newer?) than my pewter leather ones. So I'm hoping they'll stretch just a smidge here. Very nice, stylish, basic flats.

These are my fourth pair. I now have most of the colors and I just love my Privos Hammock. I wear them every day.\r\n If you like the feel of a sneaker but don\'t like the look, then you have found the ideal shoe.

Privo Hammock - I should have listened to the reviewers before I purchased these. I thought they would be okay on "my" feet, but lo and behold, they are killing my heels. I have not worn them out, just around the house so I could "break" them in, but it's not happening. I love Privo shoes and sandals and have many pairs, but never have had a pair that hurt as these do. I read that some people put moleskin on the backs and still didn't help and Privo should read these reviews and take note for when they are designing and manufacturing. I am so disappointed. I have been looking for this shoe for a very long time! I also purchased Privo Riles and had the same problems. Thank you Zappos for your continued, excellent customer service.

Comfort, but feel I have to take care when I wear these -
Hi, I love the comfort, but I feel that I have to not walk the dog in these shoes. They are delicate and comfortable. Some of my other Privos are better for the walks, but it is still fun to wear them. I just put on other shoes when I am doing anything that will ruin them.

Best shoes ever -
These shoes did cut into the heel the first couple of times I wore them but after a week, they are now my all-time favorite shoes! You can get away with wearing these shoes with relatively formal business wear, which makes it even better.

These shoes are super-cute, and I loved the way the felt when I first tried them on. However, after wearing them out for the first time, they rubbed the back of my heel raw. My other two pairs of Privos have been perfectly comfortable so I'm surprised about these. I love the fit and look though, so I am going to hope that they will soften up and be comfortable after I wear them a few times, or else put something in to pad it.

Cute but painful -
I have never has problems with Privo's so I went ahead even though most reviews mention cutting into the heel. The shoes were comfy when I wore them around the house, but the first time I wore them out, they dug a whole in my heel that took weeks to heel. I now have moleskin affixed to the shoes in an attempt to make them wearable. Don't try these.

This is my third pair of Privos. I bought these to take on a trip to Spain next month. I love the look of them and even in white they are very flattering on my size 9 feet and extremely versatile. Not quite as comfortable as my first two Privos, only because they dig in/rub at the back. Needs padding there, but as I'm breaking them in, it's getting better.

Cute but not comfortable -
I love the look of these shoes and was really hoping to take them on a couple of work and leisure trips. The heel continues to torment me -- with lots of rubbing after a few blocks of walking. Even with lots of breaking in, these shoes are still uncomfortable. I do wear them at home and around town but not for any long distances. They also feel really small for the size they purport to be. So buyer beware.
The footbed is very comfortable which is nice, but doesn't make up for the heel rubbing issues.
I wish I had returned them instead of thinking they would improve over time.

Just ok -
These shoes look cute, but unfortunately I would need 10 and 1/2 to have a comfortable fit.
I am keeping size 10 for now, see if they loosen up.

Not as comfy as other Privo shoes -
I have had several pairs of Privo shoes. These ones are really cutting up the back of my heels. I hope that will stop soon - I have worn them 4 times. That never happened with my other Privos though. They look super cute, so the pain is worth it.

Cute, but OWWW!
These shoes are very cute, but they dig into the most sensitive part of my heel and create blisters! I added pads to the back, but it doesn't really help. The purple is a nice color; I just wish they didn't hurt so much!

Super cute and stylish -
I love the look of these shoes! I got the black patent leather, and they are super cute and stylish. You could wear these to the office or with jeans on the weekends. My only complaint is that the stitching on the inside of the shoe rubs against my heel. The back of the heel also digs in a little bit when I wear them. I really love the shoes, but I may have to send them back. Otherwise they are perfect. So sad!!!

Had to keep all three!
I ordered three pair (navy, purple, and pewter), intending to return at least one of them. Couldn't part with any pair. Even though I don't need three, this great shoe may be discontinued and then I would be left out in the woods barefoot! They are comfortable, soft, and quiet to walk in. They are high quality, and nice looking. The purple is a nice muted tone; the navy kinda dark- could pass for black- and the pewter nice and muted as well.

Love Privos!
I love this shoe-it's cute and comfortable, looks great with slacks or jeans. Not a lot of cushion, but adequate.

The first pair of Privo's Hammock that I bought, I broke them in at work (the true test). OMG my feet did not hurt at all. The next morning I bought four more two in black, one patent and one pewter.

I am in my final month of pregnancy and this shoe has been perfect...almost like wearing a slipper! I have received many compliments on this shoe. It is a bit sporty, yet not over the top. As the mommy of three young children, to have the ability to slip it on and go is awesome as well as being able to chase my little ones. I plan to get these in another color. I only gave these 4 stars for comfort because there is really no arch support.

This is the second size I ordered - I first ordered a 1/2 size smaller based on reviews, but that was too small. Then I ordered my true size and it still is a little tight, but still very comfortable. At the very least, I would recommend ordering your true size.

Cute flat, even for size 10 feet!
Don’t know what possessed me, but after years of wearing nothing without a heel (not super high, but always a heel); I wanted a cute little ballet type flat. Hard to do when you're a big girl with size 10 feet. Tried many, failed always. Love Privos, and loved that this had a little wedge type "heel" in the back. Super comfy, nice Privo insert inside, and the top curve is cut really well to flatter even largish feet. Nothing dainty about size 10s, but in these flats, even I think they're cute! Great with long skirts, yoga pants, etc. love Privo--wish they sold replacement inserts for all their shoes, since I wear them more often than not without socks.

New to Flats - I'm not normally a flats person, I find most flats are less comfortable than heels or boots and give me blisters. So it was a long search before I finally found these cute little shoes. I needed them to run around the city and go to work and go to dinner, so they had to be versatile. I got them in pewter because it’s a nice neutral color that matches everything. They look great under a pair of work pants or even skirt. The feel is like that of wearing a night slipper. The insoles are very comfortable and lightweight, like a very light airy sneaker, but cuter because you can wear it to work or out on the weekends. They look very nice on, sort of high tech and stylish at the same time. My one gripe is the elastic back. I have a very sensitive foot and this back part rubs a little when I walk, but it might be a matter of getting used to and definitely don’t give me as much blisters as the Cole Haan ones I have. Make sure you don’t get them too big because the bigger sizes rub more instead of fitting snuggly. I'm a 7.5 and they fit true to size. Overall I’m very pleased with this shoe and will be looking into buying more Privos in the future.

I am a teacher that is on my feet all day. This shoe gives me blisters and makes my feet very uncomfortable to walk and stand in all day long. Not a good buy at all.
