I bought my usual size in this shoe, but it felt much larger. It was also to wide. I have a narrow foot though. The sole doesn\'t flex much, it\'s pretty stiff. I got the brown, but it doesn\'t really look like real leather. It\'s looks cheap. The black pulls it off better. They are also not water proof. The snow soaks through. Traction is not good, be careful not to slip on the ice. The buckles are really cute, though. The boots look great paired with skinny jeans.

These are not suede or leather, just a leather-like fabric, but because there's no stiffness they're extremely hard to get on and badly constructed. Actually I can't even get mine on at all and had to send them back. They would seem so comfortable, but you got to get them on first! These boots look good. If you have any bit of an arch, you wont even be able to get them on. Due to the nature of their kind of bad construction trying to get your heel into the boot is blocked by the little thing that holds your heel in any normal pair of shoes! Very strange; this is the second pair of boots from them I've had to return because of this problem. Goes to show you cant expect much from cheapo Rocket Dog unfortunately.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: anything other than badly made rocket dog!

I agree with the majority - they run slightly larger and the insole has minimal cushioning. But I slipped some cushioned insoles inside (which I had room to do)and these boots soared straight to the top of my favorites! This is the one pair of boots I own that I can wear with my one and only pair of skinny jeans. People I don't even know have commented on what nice looking boots I'm wearing! I think the material they are made of looks fine - I just sprayed them with a suede protector before I wore them and they're holding up great.

I absolutely love these boots! I read the other reviews regarding the hardness of the soles before I purchased them, so when I received them I just threw in a set of gel inserts and problem solved. They look great and I get a lot of compliments.

Really cute- looks exactly like in the picture, a good buy for the price. However, not the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. They hurt in the toe and heel and gave me about 3 blisters on each foot after wearing them for roughly 4 hours. Wear cautiously and in short duration with socks. You may want to go a half size smaller than your normal size.

Most Painful boot in my closet -
But I love them anyway. Bottom wood sole, Fabric upper, flannel lining. Not steel toe or would be stated as a selling point. Absolutely NO ARCH SUPPORT. Buy these with the word UNcomfortable in mind and plan to get yourself Gellin'. You basically glide around because the sole does not bend. Prepare to drag your feet. But since they are a 'motorcycle style' boot of course its expected. Ideal for a night out but not an entire day. And we New Yorkers WALK! Bottom line, I hate to love these but I do oh so much!

Attractive shoes... Rock hard!
These shoes are beautiful. Better than what the pictures show. However, beware! These shoes are solid. Not much comfort. I believe these shoes are made of wood from the bottom. And steel toe from the top. This solid design will last you for years. Comfort is taken away for durability. Not your ideal shoe to wear everyday. The shoes do grab attention for its beauty. Walk too long in them or wear them for too many hours... Watch out. For there is no room to let your toes move around comfortably. These shoes are ideal for riding motorcycles. Not everyday walking.

Synthetic upper, but comfy -
Bought these because they're not leather, but synthetic. Seem pretty durable, but needed more arch support so I added an insole. Did a lot of walking in them and they're pretty comfy.

Good comfortable boot -
I’m very happy with this boot! I like the motorcycle style of it, but it’s synthetic, so they're more lightweight. Surprisingly comfortable – I just wore mine for 5 days, on my feet walking all day, and wasn't in pain at the end of the day. I’m normally a 9, but bought an 8.5 and it fits. Have them in brown, thinking of getting a pair in black. And Zappos upgraded to free next day shipping! I love Zappos.

Very comfy -
Love these boots, fits true to size, just wish the material was a slightly less "man-made" looking (though the texture is pleasant) and they didn't have rubber labels sewn on the top!

My daughter loves the boots; however, they are not a "suede upper" as listed. They are a fabric made to look like suede.
