These shoes are very comfortable. I had been having foot problems on both the top and bottom of my feet, and they help lessen the pain.

Thank you for the easy transaction. I received my new shoes the very next day, and they are just what I wanted. I would recommend these Brooks shoes to anyone with a wide foot who also wears orthotics; the insole comes out and the orthotic slips right in. Good support and very comfortable, they help with foot pain. They are very hard to find in my size. Thank you Zappos! (I am EE.)

I was sorry that Brooks discontinued their earlier model of this shoe as that one was absolutely perfect. This update, while workable is not quite as wide but after a few wearings was OK. It does have good support and that filled my need. It remains a good walking shoe as I toured some of Washington, DC on foot recently and they kept my feet comfortable.

Ordered 1/2 half size larger than usual and got a good fit. Shoes felt a little stiff the first few times I wore them, but now are fine. The shoe feels very substantial and I understand why nurses and other reviewers who stand all day chose this shoe. Feels like a solid base when I wear it.

The Brooks Addiction Walker was recommended by a orthopedic doctor for the condition I have with both feet. I did try another brand one time that did not support my feet like the Brooks brand does. I was able to return these in exchange for what really works, the Brooks Addiction Walker. I have had nothing but great results shopping with Zappos, from doing orders online to talking with the staff that work the phones. I have had to return products, getting the same wonderful service and results always to my satisfaction. The best ever shipping service you will ever find. You will walk away happy!

I just spent 12 days in Paris, walking every day and most evenings seeing the fabulous sights. I wore the Brooks Addiction Walker every day and had no problems keeping up with my much younger sister. The shoes are the most comfortable walking shoe I have owned. I wish I would have had them when I went to Italy a couple of years ago! I have problems with my feet; bunions, orthotics, etc. I did not get any sore spots or blisters. I will purchase these shoes again. The shoe fit comfortably from the first day and ran true to size.

I have worn the Brooks Addiction Walker for several years. I also have the white. I have a lot of knee and leg problems and these shoes give me the support I need. They need no break-in time so when I get a new pair I can put them on and go. I recommend Zappos to a lot of people. The service is great. I can order by 10 one day and the shoes are on my doorstep the next afternoon.

Zappos service is fantastic and these shoes couldn\'t be better. The motion control has helped relieve pain in my knees, legs and hips. I won\'t wear anything else now that I\'ve found these! Well worth the money!

I have arthritis in both my great toes. The Brooks Walker has a large, high toe box which helps relieve the pain in walking. Brooks shoes will always be my working shoes.

Anyone with foot problems needs to try this shoe. comfort and support is excellent. I have lots of problems. My foot was broken in 5 places. now I have plantar fasciitis. This is the shoe for me when I can\'t wear my birkenstocks. I have tried all the expensive brand name walkers. The Brooks is the only shoe I can wear!

I have worn these shoes for years. I have arthritis in both feet, and they work great with my orthotics. I just had left foot fusion. I had to go to an EE width to accommodate the temporary swelling, and will continue to buy them. My foot surgeon originally told me they have the right amount and type of stability. So for foot issues, I highly recommend them.

Plantar fasciitis - need I say more? These shoes feel heavenly. Pain gone Day 1. Reading other reviews, I bought on the larger side so they were a perfect fit. Honestly. I just ordered another pair so I don\'t wear them out!

Very uncomfortable. I work retail and I am on my feet for 8 to 10 hours a day. After reading the reviews these appeared to be just what I was looking for in a shoe. Boy was I disappointed. The insole is thin foam very little support and no cushion. The foot bed underneath is as hard as a cement floor. I even tried Spenco Insoles, which are great in my New Balance shoes, and still they hurt my feet. I can't wear these and I can't return them now. A terrible waste of money. If you buy them check them carefully before keeping them.

I really like the comfort of this shoes and they feel great, but i made the mistake of ordering them for work ( restaurant)and even though they say they\\\'re slip resistant, they are not at all. Not recomended for that purpose. For regular walking they are one of the best. But unfortunately didnt have what i needed. They shouldn\\\'t misinform the customers.

The best shoe I\'ve worn. I\'m on my feet for long hours at a time have back and joint prolems. These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. I\'ve worn them every day for a year and they still look pretty good.

The style and fit of this shoe is great! I have severe foot problems along with a bad back! Working in the food industry, good shoes are a must! The only problem I have found is that they are definitely NOT slip resistant!!!! I have to continually hold on when going through the kitchen/dish area! Tonight I fell!!!! Definitely will not wear these shoes in the restaurant again!

Brooks Addiction Walker with shoe laces -
This shoe is great except I prefer the hook and loop style, which is much easier to get on and off. Brooks Addiction walking shoes are the sturdiest, most long lasting of any walking/running shoes I’ve worn. I like the black color because it doesn't show dirt. This shoe is especially good for people who need lots of toe room but a heel that doesn't slide off when you walk. I use a heel lift in one shoe and it fits inside the shoe perfectly. This shoe is a bit stiff when you first try it but that stiffness seems to go away. I hope Zappos keeps carrying this style for a long time!

Wonder shoes!!!
Have been wearing Brooks Addiction for more years than I can remember. When I showed them to my orthopedist, he couldn't believe the construction and support. Working as a medical assistant for over 20 years, these shoes have been my life savor. I purchased a new pair 3 times a year. Worth ever penny I've spent. Recently found Zappos and it makes a good thing even better. Order online and receive them within a few days.

Handled Vegas like a pro!
I have tried several different types of walkers and I keep coming back to the Addiction. I like the 08 better than the original, but wishes they were more stylish. It was a little tight at first with my orthotic, but the leather stretched within a day. I have had no problems since then and have ordered the white pair which look like nurse's shoes (I work in the health care field, so this works). They are comfortable, durable and handled walking miles in Vegas without issue. Plus Zappos has the best return and shipping out there. I ordered the white pair at 9:30 EST and they arrived the next day. Love you Zappos and love the Brooks!!

I shop the latest styles and fashions on Zappos.com in Denmark, ship them to my USA address and pay with my Danish bank card...no hassle. Your “competition” will not allow me to do that and they place the burden of identity verification on me. When I try to place an order from Denmark to ship to my house in USA they cancel my order. When I call in to determine why they do not use a more sophisticated method of credit card verification like “Verify by Visa” they tell me they cannot reinstate the order. I spend about 3K per month in shoes alone and I am more than happy buying them all from Zappos now.
