These shoes are great. The size was perfect. They were comfortable the first time I put them on. I wore them for several hours the first time, walking around a party and my feet did not hurt at all. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. I have never owned Dr. Martens so I have had to get used to the heavy sole but that didn't take long.

I bought a pair of Dr. Martens sandals when they first came out...Was that the 90's? Anyway, they were heavy duty and very suitable for walking the gritty streets of NY. It's been years since I've worn Dr. Martens. However, I was tiring of the Keen look. And Dansko just doesn't make a sandal that appeals to me. These Dr. Marten Sandals are very heavy, but also very cool. I like the leather foot bed. It keeps my foot cool. I wonder if they're heavier than the original 90's series. Anyway, great value for the quality, look, and feel.

Great Shoes -
I love the chunky, cute look of Doc Martens. These are very cute. They look great. They're comfortable, but if you need arch support like I do, be warned that there is none. They are cushioned, and that helps. But no arch support. I was already aware of the lack of arch support in these. I chose to keep them anyway because I LOVE them!

Great Comfortable Sandal -
I bought this sandal to take on vacation. This sandal is very comfortable and has great arch support. I have narrow feet so the width is true to size so your feet will not feel tight.
