My 5 year old daughter picked these out online and when they arrived she wouldn\'t stop talking about how much she loved them! I love them for the mere fact that they are Keens and are sturdy for running, and playing, but different than a running shoe. They are great "everyday" shoes and so far still look great after several weeks of wearing them! You can never fail with a keen. These were true to size for her.

I bought these for my 2 year old daughter for this fall. I will agree with the others that they run a little small so I did exchange them for a size bigger, I just wanted to make sure they fit through winter. Cant wait to see how they work out in the wet leaves and snow and to take them up North to the cabin for some hikes. Cute color combo too even for a girl.

These wear like iron -
Since my daughter began walking at 11 months, she has worn through shoe soles or toes faster than she outgrow the shoes (she's three now). This past spring I bought her Keen's Targhee, a similar style, and after 8 months of near daily wear, she has grown out of them with the soles still intact. Zappos was sold out of the Targhee in the size she needs so I got these instead. So far my only complaints are that the tongue of the Truckee is shorter than previous style, it runs small, and it doesn't come in half sizes. When the 10 got too small, the 11 wasn't quite big enough, and the 12 is pretty floppy. Since they last so long, though, I'm sure she'll grow into them. Note: when she grew out of the 10, she was measured at a 9.5 in a shoe store. These run a full size (or more) small.
